"as often as I ran from him, I was thrilled to try the cafe. unfortunately the experience fell flat for all her charms. I'm not sure why they're holding up, because this is a very small caffe with limited, first seating, we had luck taking a table. no waiting service, they order at the desk. they have a good selection of omeletts, sandwiches and other brunch articles. oddly, instead of offering menus, they had print out some pages of the menus, but they must go through several stacks of paper to find what they are looking for. the service needs a serious improvement. somehow they managed to lose our orders twice, it took 3 separate people who took our orders before we finally got our food, almost an hour after our first order (and one of the sandwiches they gave us was the wrong order). at this point they were made of utensils, so the half of our party got plastic knives. the toast came out long after the rest of the meal. the food was mediocre. I appreciate that the owner was there and compiles the table with dessert. a much appreciated gesture to restore the experience. I really hope they can improve because the restaurant has a great ambiente and a lot of potential, and I would like to see them successfully!"
