"Haven’t visited in over a decade since I no longer live in the SW Houston area but it was a last minute invite by my uncle that I did not want to let down the trip was worth it. The food and service was just as good as I remember and the prices remain fair reasonable considering so many others have gone up the past three years. The dishes we ordered were made with the same care and love as I remember and I don’t really know why some critics say the same thing but give this family owned business as hard time over their “ambiance” since to me, it’s been this way for as long as I remember and to me, the only thing that matters is the cleanliness and the quality of the food and service, and Yuan Ten checks all the important boxes. So if you want okay food at inflated prices but a “photo or post quality” atmosphere, go somewhere else. But….if good quality made food that reflects a mastery of traditional Chinese cuisine with friendly service and fair prices, then come visit Yuan Ten….you’ll be glad you did."
