"The restaurant is small, seat approx. 40 people, with distinctive decor, but the food is fabulous! We ordered vegetable soups and cholesterol. The Samosas and the broth were both perfectly roasted crabs, hot, without fat. The cholesterol was nicely seasoned, with a complex and balanced mix of spices and this perfect spice balance followed by the other dishes we ordered: chicken corma, Aloo Gobi and a black lentil dial. We had a side of sweet Mango Chutney that was not too sweet; excellent tamarind, tomatoes and mint Chutneys were also for the table, along with pappadam. The restaurant has no alcohol license, but you can BYOB; there is a bodega, a rod grocery store, a block away, and a wine and spirits business of A Rod's. Our server, a young woman, was inexperienced and had problems with English, but this is not a place you go for the British service for the perfectly seasoned and cooked kitchen. If you like Indian food, go! You will be pressed hard to find better, and you will be happy at the price."
