"It has been some time since we were at Jax and we were happy to give it a chance before the play at Starlight on July 28. Our server, Kayla I thnk was very pleasant and positive. Becuse it was so hot outside we both ordered an appetizer and a gumbo. The food was excellent as always. The play ended up being cancelled due to the heat so we had the dessert of the day special. A blueberry like cobbler. All in all it was a great return visit."

"Great place for a quick cheap bite to eat. It is a random spot for a diner, but worth the visit. I have been going here since it was the old Tok's. The food, service, atmosphere is always a good time. It is a throwback to the 50's diners of yester-years. You can play the juke box. Your waitress will generally come in a poodle skirt. Then there is that good, old timey diner food. It never disappoints."

"From the moment we arrived the staff and service was top notch. The were numerous menu choices that sounded so delicious it made it difficult to choose. We were there to celebrate a birthday, the had a card waiting for the birthday recipient. Our server was very pleasant and took excellent care of us, and we noticed she did the same for other customers. The food was outstanding, and our trio highly recommends it. A special place."

"This is our favorite place to go to breakfast. The staff is always nice and the food is great. They have a patio for the nicer days, but I don 't think we have ever sat on it. The restaurant is not big inside, but we have never waited long. Decor is 'hole in the wall ', but the food makes up for any lack of decor. There is no beer list, but never ending coffee is usually what we need anyway! I have liked everything I have gotten here. TBG always has to finish my plate so we order different things. I like to get the egg sandwich on a bagel, but also love the eggs benedict, and the stuffed french toast. TBG likes the eggs benedict and sometimes gets it with cajun steak. We have visited a handful of times after breakfast and their lunch/dinner food is also good. The pastrami and corned beef are homemade and good, and the sandwiches are huge. "I just had the worst experience in ribs and dingen. I ordered 6 items from them, although grup hub and among them were hunan scallop and kragen greens. Now, when I opened the hunan scalloped, it stinked of reddish fish and I didn't eat anything of it. when I tasted the green, they were cooked with so much salt that I could not eat that either. the fish sandwich was tasty and so was the potato salad. so my husband said I should go back and ask for a refund. Now when I was just going to the load and asked and asked her to smell it, she said that the paprika and nothing is right with it. she then began to call me that you must call grub hub. I said, mam, I'm not anymore."

"personally it’s a 10/10 would recommend trying this place out I love the food but I’ve only tried the pizza puff and the cheeseburger so I’m speaking on those two Items the cheeseburger 10/10 I don’t like cheeseburgers they’re too much for me but the photos on DoorDash made me curious so I ordered it, let me tell you its perfect it’s not under cooked and not overcooked it’s just perfect and it’s not greasy greasy I can taste everything on the sandwich which I love cause the meat isn’t overpowering the whole sandwich but if you’re a cheeseburger person who likes them meaty, greasy, and messy, cook out with you family style or whatever this sandwich might not be for you but you should try it out anyways it won’t hurt you also the pizza puff is perfect too I have no cons for this place so far"

"The couple who own the restaurant are always so friendly and happy to cook our food just the way we like it. The owner does all the cooking himself and his wife is the waitress. Our favorite foods there are the breakfasts especially eggs, omelettes, American fries, the roast pork and turkey dinners, along with their home made mashed potatoes. The prices are all very reasonable. It's great to get a dinner including soup or salad, and dessert all for around $10. They always put on a nice fresh pot of good tasting coffee for us too. Gorginas is closed Sunday through Tuesday but are open until 8 pm every other day. It's a good place to relax and have a nice home cooked very reasonably priced meal."

"I was thrown off by the seasoning of the chicken wings at this restaurant. They tasted distinct from what I'm used to at Chinese restaurants and were overly salty. The quality of the meat wasn't the greatest, but the vegetables were fresh. While the food was edible, I couldn't tolerate the taste and ended up throwing away half of it."

And a really yummy flourless chocolate torte to finish. The server was friendly and helpful and we were seated right on time."
