"We were a group of eight, who visited on Friday. It is a cozy English Pub-style restaurant. I went outside of my comfort zone and ordered the French Toast: two thick slices of bread edged with Nutella and topped with Pastry Cream. What a splurge! No regrets. Hubby had a Carlsberg and the Roast Beef sandwich, with a healthy order of fries. Thank you to our server Ashley! The only negative is that the rest rooms need a lot of work. We did have a great meal."

"This was my first visit, but definitely not my last. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and cheese fries. As I picked up my order, the staff gave me a complimentary chicken leg to try, and it was delicious. The chicken parmigiana had perfectly cooked fillets that could hold their own in today's chicken sandwich competitions. It was one of the best chicken parmes I've ever tasted. The cheese fries were also excellent. I highly recommend this place to everyone. You won't be disappointed."

"A friend told us about the seafood at Brighton Beach Bagel Bakery, so that is what we went to try. This place is not fancy but it was clean. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Everyone was friendly. The food was served hot and as ordered. It was very good and it was nice to find a place with whole belly clams, outside of New England. Our group ordered a lobster salad sandwich (medium size), New England clam chowder and clam cakes, fried whole belly clams and a grilled chicken sandwich. Everything was tasty. Clam cakes were a little dense, but still very good. I looked at what they had at the bakery, but did not buy anything. It was about 6:30 so the bakery cases were not as full as they probably were in the morning, but what they had looked good especially the Linzer cookies, which I will go back to buy. We thought everything was reasonably priced and we will go back."

"Don't be daunted by how cool this place looks. The staff is very friendly, the drinks are priced below DC averages, and they are really, very good. I usually prefer beer over cocktails, but these are interesting recipes, executed by a dedicated staff, which results in drinks that are a revelation. The food is similarly created, simple, but well done, with pleasant details (tomatillo sauce on the taco's). Finally, the backyard area is spacious, shaded in the evening, with many small tables. In short an ideal beer garden. Another reason to head to the burgeoning Upshur street corridor."

"The food at this restaurant is consistently great. I have visited three different locations and have always had the same delicious food served by friendly waitresses. "Wow, freshest bread in Dearborn! Got spinach and meat pies 10/10. I usually don’t opt for the spinach ones but these had a nice zing to them. The Manaeesh steals the prize though. Ordered a cheese and Zaater manaaesh and it was amazing. Piping hot made to order right out the oven. So much flavor and the consistency of the dough is cloud-like. It’s a full meal in itself. Don’t judge the place from the outside, this is a diamond in the rough!"
