"This place is AMAZING! Gotta get the vegan ceviche, could use a more sea like flavor, but it’s so fresh and fantastic. The guacamole is good too. The fajitas were awesome and served in half a pineapple. The complimentary salsa was not spicy at all, but had depth in its flavor. If you drink alcohol, the paloma was so refreshing and the watermelon Tajín marg was great as well, but a heavy poor. Can’t wait to come back for more!!! Didn’t get to try the vegan dessert, but I’m excited for it next time."

"I've been here since I was a little kid and I've always returned, though I live in Texas. The atmosphere is calm and quirky. I order the eggs Benedict and it's always a hit... I wish the ham was a thinner slice. We also tried the special Ribeye Steak eggs, which was not as great as we would have wished for the price. Speaking of pricing, it definitely has more and more expensive with every visit. I think some things were definitely overpriced, but again I come in for the friendly people, the good food and the nostalgia here. I love seeing a Carpinteria stable still strong."

"Here was WONDERFUL! My family and I had such a great experience. The owner (I suppose) welcomed us when we entered, took our order and brought us our drinks and food. He was so kind and attentive to review several times to make sure everything was good. When we finished eating, we'll stick around so I could finish my drink, and we didn't get wrong. The food was great, much better than other Mexican restaurants I tried in Colorado, and the Pina Colada was fantastic! We will definitely be back and happy throw our money behind this charming local business."

"opentable allowed me a reservation to book 11:45. I showed around 11:25 and the bartender argued with me how they did not open up to 12 (her outdoor jam and happy hour signage promotes happy hour from 11:30, but whatever.) then she went and changed my reservation time to 12 in open table after I told her that I was able to book a reservation for 11:45. eating was not good. chips were cold and stale, they were my friend from the Margarita taste and I ordered and they seemed in any case not prepared for just recently reopened. I will not come back in definitiw!"

"The food was middle of the road, but the service was sub par. We waited over a half an hour for our drinks. If the place was properly staffed it would have been easily 4 stars. The only thing this place truly has going for it is the convenience of being inside the resort and not having to drive anywhere if you want to partake in cocktail hour….."

"The chili verde is full of flavorous tender pieces of pork in a well seasoned green sauce. Frijoles have a rich home cooked flavor with the texture of mashed beans that is like home made. Their food is CONSTANTLY well prepared and flavorful, BTW: The ceviche is an award for your tongue. Perhaps consider some lime slices with the order."

"I ordered the fish tacos that were good. The jalapeño honey jam had a kick. Fiery and sweet. I don?t like hot so it was too hot for me. But it came on the side so I didn?t put it in the other two tacos. Which was thoughtful. The rice was cooked just right with a hint of butter. There?s a good bar list. I would suggest reservations Friday through Sunday, especially if the weather is nice. I gave it three stars because I felt it was just average. Average service just trying to survive a busy night. No fault of the staff, just the way it is. Nothing really stood out to me as amazing. I would come back again because there was also nothing bad."

"place is definitiw small, but outside heating kept this girl, which usually quite warm frozen. the food was delicious! had the Colorado stew enchiladas with Verde sauce and it was great. was the first time I ever had colorado stew and it was very tasteful. others had chimichangas and they really enjoyed them."
