"I am new to North Carolina and live in Fuquay Varina. I had been looking for a southern soul food restaurant in the area and a neighbor told me about Joyce's Restaurant. So I decided to give it a try. Now I am there at least 3-4 times a week. Everything that I have tried so far has been tasty and seasoned to perfection. My favorite is the fried chicken and the iced tea!.. The vegetables are always fresh and the mac and cheese is amazing. The key lime pie is my favorite dessert. Ms. Joyce, the owner is very pleasant and welcomes everyone who enters the door with a big smile and hello. I noticed that there are regular customers who frequent the establishment on a regular basis, me being one of them. I would recommend anyone that has not been there to give it a try. I guarantee you'll return for seconds."

"Not sure who it is that answers the phone but she is very ignorant and she hears what she wants to hear I just canceled my whole order because she took it wrong and was trying to tell me I’m wrong like I don’t know what I literally just said! If you eat here GO IN if you want the right food"

"I initially went in right before lunch ended for the lunch special for $5.99. The posted sign said lunch special from 11am-3pm. Meat, 2 sides and a roll. The time was 12:41. After placing my order with my card I was given a receipt to sign. It had the total I owed the restaurant and another amount for .29. I asked grandma what was this twenty-nine cents charge and she explained that's how much they charge to use cards. So I asked what was the total for the meal and she said I had to add it up then sign the receipt. The total came to $8.15. I was confused because the posted sign says $5.99 so why am I paying over $8. Grandma proceeds to tell me that the price is $6.99 and not $5.99. I told her that was false advertising. She assured me that she was going to take it down. After getting my food the chicken had no taste and the fries where soaked in grease. I wouldn't recommend this place. There's no coming back from this"
