"We booked Nicholson’s as we had theatre tickets and it was directly across the street from the Aronoff. Location was perfect, but that’s about it. The restaurant is very much like The Pub….noise level was a bit loud. Waitresses in short kilts. Menu not as it appeared on website. Service was ssslllloooowww to say the least. We had a 5:45 reservation and walked out just in time for our show. Food was mediocre at best. Pork belly was over cooked, steak was over done (knew I wouldn’t get out of there in time if I sent it back), pork tenderloin pork chops were definitely cooked through. My husband tried to order them medium well and the server informed us that pork doesn’t get cooked to temperature…..it just gets cooked. Long and short of it? Nothing spectacular about this place. Be sure to go when you don’t have anywhere else to be…."
