"Went to a pre-opening lunch yesterday. OMG the menu is insane! Food was fabulous! I’ve never had a more perfectly done piece of fried fish. The Tail of the Whale is named accurately- my piece of fish covered my plate! Husband had a classic Reuben sandwich and was thrilled. Served on a marbled rye Our appetizer was a delicious melty goat cheese with fruit compote drizzled in something slightly sweet. Served with delicious brioche and crackers. Portions so large we had to take half home, and then dessert came! Perfect Creme brûlée and a chocolate cake with fresh whipped cream and raspberry sauce. Presentation was beautiful. Servers friendly and efficient. The interior is beautiful and music great! This was truly a wonderful experience. If it’s that good pre opening and on their first day, I can only imagine how fabulous it will be! We will definitely make this a regular spot! Thanks for a wonderful experience!"
