"Kimi's was our go-to place when it was in sugarhouse. We spent many fantastic friday evenings there whether for a full dinner or just drinks and oysters and appetizers. It had the great sugarhouse vibe and we loved it. Last night we visited the new restaurant in Holladay. While the food was still very good, it just was not the same experience. I don't know how to explain it, but the fun feel was gone. Its now just another fine dining establishment and has lost its unique appeal. The table was horribly designed and there was no where to put one's feet because of a huge footing underneath. And the couch I was sitting on made me feel like a 3-year as I was not tall enough. I hate to say it, but I will not be a regular at the new kimi's. I'm grateful for the many wonderful meals and experiences we had in Sugarhouse and wish Kimi the best as she moves forward with this new chapter."
