"Went for dinner before a Mavs game. We had a reservation and they sat us right away. Restaurant was attractive. They had us scan a QR code for the menu and we noticed it was limited compared with what they show online (there were no meat/fish offerings and not all of the pastas). When we asked our waiter why he said it was an event menu….basically limited offerings to help things move faster on a busy game day. Made sense and since we were needing to eat and get to the game too and there were enough pasta and pizza choices we were fine with it. We asked about a pizza and the waiter said the pizza oven was actually out of service so no pizza either. So, ok, no problem, we picked 3 different pastas and ordered within just a few minutes of being seated. 40 mins after ordering and hearing nothing from anyone, we inquired about our food and our waiter apologized and said they were super busy and there were still 4 orders ahead of us. We asked for bread, and he said there wasn’t any because they usually make it in the pizza oven and it’s down. We were offered a water refill. About 10 more minutes passed and we asked again, waiter checked and said we were next up to have our food made and should be just a few more mins. About 5 mins later at least 50 mins after ordering…one order did arrive. Then at about 55 mins after we had ordered we got the second order and about 2 mins after that, the final/3rd pasta order. Portions were not big, but they were adequate in size (we didn’t leave hungry or full). Only thing that saved the experience was we all thought the food tasted very, very good (or maybe we were just starving, lol). So overall…nice ambiance, pleasant waitstaff (although no manager said anything to us about our waiting basically an hour for our food), and delicious pasta….for that last reason we all hope perhaps it was just an off night and we look forward to giving it another try. I probably won’t come on a game day, and won’t come too hungry either, just in case…."
