A delightful mix of shrimp, chicken, beef, and pork with fresh vegetables in a savory sauce.

"A horrible dining experience. Greeter was unfriendly almost discourteous. The food was brought out piece meal, my wife ate hers while I waited. The food was basically inedible. I could not eat the General Tso chicken. I am not a picky eater but this was really bad tasting food. I love rice. I could not eat the rice. It tasted like it was a day old and then nuked to warm it up. The ambience is not good. I don't like giving such a negative review but it really surprised me that a restaurant could be this bad and stay open. I suspect if they are ever inspected it won't go well for them. Needless to say I won't be returning."

"Sushi was on pricier side but the quality was so disappointing especially for how much we paid. Sushi rolls were dry and not flavorful. It felt like they used last week's leftovers to make. Disappointed. I ate here once before and remember it being ok but todays was just not good. Also waited 20 more minutes longer than they said it t would be ready. Go to Yama or Koto if looking for decent sushi."

"The atmosphere is warm and fun, the food is divine, and the service is fast and respectful! Got my food within less than 10 minutes, and it was worth every second! The selection of cuisine is great, and with huge, heaping servings, it filled me up with food to spare! Even though the food is usually salty and savory, the sauces blend well with each flavor, for those who wish for a more sweet experience. I personally suggest the #22 combination plate, for those looking for a great dinner or a lunch with leftovers. There is also American cuisine if you're in the mood for that. The location is great as well, and I couldn't recommend it more, for anyone!"

"Now, here’s a little story: I found myself unable to gather food during the recent blizzard. Early in the morning, I ventured out to the local general store, which was surprisingly still open despite the thick snow. As dinnertime approached, I started to wonder if I could find something to eat. I trudged through the dazzling snow with no one else on the street except for a few snowplows. After a struggle to get out of my neighborhood and onto the main road, I felt a glimmer of hope and continued on. However, everything was dark. There were no lights, no open signs—nothing. Driving through downtown Kennebunk, I noticed people inside The Blue Coffee Shop, so I parked my car in the snow and bravely went inside to check it out. To my dismay, it turned out to be a private event, and their "closed" sign was posted on the door. What a disappointment! I felt like I had struck out, but I didn't give up; I kept going and got my car out of the snow to head to Wells. Unfortunately, everything else was closed. After much searching, I was ready to give up when I spotted Maple Leaves Garden. The open sign was brightly lit, and I could see the cook inside! I took a deep breath, navigated through the snow, and walked in. The owner was pleasantly surprised to see a customer and I promptly ordered Chicken Mai Fun. I waited about five minutes in the lobby, and when my order was ready, I was warmly wished a safe journey home as I left. I thanked them for being open during such a challenging time. I made it back home safely, despite the slick roads and icy conditions. In summary, the folks at Maple Leaves Garden really come through for you when you need it most. The Chicken Mai Fun was a large portion and incredibly delicious! Well done!"

"for the eighteen and a half years I have eaten in this restaurant and the bark meat with broccoli, not spicy, with extra white rice every time order, they trust me when I write that this is the place to eat. I've never found another place like Chen-Fu where it's just phenomenal. there is no other Chinese-American restaurant like this. I could take some of my friends who are not huge Asian food fans to a fan of this on Asian food. eating here is like no other. the sauce in which the brokkoli and the bark are cooked is amazing, not sweet, more of a hearty taste. the mixture of broccoli, bark meat and sauce are overwhelming taste buds. the rice is boiled and steamed to perfection, I am picky over my rice and this is the only restaurant in which I am in love with the rice. a nice little mom and pop restaurant. every time my family and I visit, we are filled with familiarity and warmth. chenda and/or sonya will welcome us at the desk and write down our order without having to say that. then tony will win us out of the kitchen. while we wait for the food, sonya will chat with us and all others in the restaurant. catch them with customers. then she will deliver our steaming teller of deliciousness and immediately I am in heaven. I regret that someone will come to Chen-Fu and experience them just wonderful eating. Even now, if I'm over a hundred miles away, I still go for my Chen Fu at least once a month."

"I live just a mile from this restaurant, so I've been dining there for years. It's a wonderful place, but like many others, it has become quite expensive. Chinese food is usually known for being affordable, which is why I don't go as often anymore. Nevertheless, the food is fantastic!"

"Had the Generals chicken it was delicious. The food was served in a timely manner. The waitress was very accommodating but not in your face. For a Restaurant to stay in business under the same ownership for around two decades, must be doing something right."

"2 orders ordered with rice. Neither with rice nor with other things we demanded. Basically, half of the order has not shown. So I paid about $50 for only half of what was advertised. This place is a big fraud. They've done that before. And they shot them again. I guess I'm kidding."

"Very good Chinese food. Typical menu with a large selection. I had the sesame chicken served with pork fried rice and an egg roll. The chicken was very tender and the sauce was excellent. The fried rice was quite good also. The egg roll was a bit dry. The portion size was quite large easily making two meals. Plan to go back and try other items."

"Tasty, spicy, and pleasant lemme tell you all about Great Wall’s attempt at authentic Chinese food. With a modern, cozy, typical Chinese esque atmosphere, this restaurant has it down pat to providing the complete package. We ordered Hong Kong Style Shrimp Ho Fun, Twice Cooked Pork, and Mapo Tofu. The Ho Fun was flavorful and light with a little too much oil, but nonetheless was good. The Twice Cooked Pork, fatty and decadent, was complemented with crisp onions and bell peppers this dish was pretty good overall. The Mapo Tofu was soft with uplifting aromas of ground pork and scattered spices. All of the food similarly served the same taste buds of mine, fulfilling my spicy craving. Spicy goodness "

"Christine is a sweetheart and has always been kind every visit. She remembers you and your family and always asks how everyone is doing. Ever since I was a kid I've always loved her chicken wings, and her general tso's chicken is amazing. Go to her for a belly full with a good meal and a warm conversation."
