"New Years Day to the show and then to eat. Was so glad Saltgrass was open. Seated at a table to the side by wall. Could see the fire place and wished we were closer. Not busy for a afternoon time. We lucked out and got a great waitress. Both Ordered the chopped steak with mushrooms and caramelized onions on top. So good! I get Brussel Sprouts that are cooked crisp with a spicy sweet sauce. Husband Broccoli with cheese. sauce. We just got the bread to go, always too full. You can get the lunch special cheaper but we do the normal dinner. You get a soup or salad and a choice for your side. This is a older place on sw side, could use alittle update. Not a fan of animals on walls. Atmosphere just ok but we always enjoy the meal."

"My husband and I was in town for a family reunion and we decided to dine later at Saltgrass, which happens to be his favorite restaurant. We were both pleased our server Mr. Roy was very attentive and pleasant. Our food was hot and fresh. My husband ordered the ribeye 16 oz with butter fly shrimp and I had the 8 oz steak with grilled shrimp. We both had baked potatoes the toppings were few hardly no cheese a lot of sour cream and butter. Overall I feel like we got our money worth, thanks for the service. Definitely recommend dinning in."

"The food at this restaurant was good and reasonably priced. The service, although a bit slow, was still satisfactory. Our server, Dwjuana, had a wonderful personality and was friendly to everyone, which may have caused the delay in service. However, she made us feel extremely valued and important during our time at the table. Dwjuana's positive attitude and great suggestions were appreciated by all customers. We tried the chicken fried steak, which was delicious, and also enjoyed the brownie crumble dessert for my husband's birthday. Overall, a delightful experience."

"Absolutely the best visit to a restaurant in a long time. The bartender was also waiting on us, she made the drinks so good, the food was delicious, I love the fried shrimp and the fried mushrooms, Also the brussel sprouts are OMG mouth watering.... Everyone helps each other, it's Definitely a team effort there and that's hard to find at places. It was really a wonderful lunch in a long time to get that kind of service that actually deserves a great tip!"

"The service here is exemplary. Our waiter came by 8 times and the manager came by twice to clear plates and check on us. We never had to ask for anything. Our party had the Maudeen's Filet, Gulf Coast Steak and Shrimp and the Chicken Laredo. We all left with empty plates. The food was excellent. Definitely going back...Soon!"

"The food and service were great! After we sat down, it did take a while for us to get a waiter. But I wasn't bothered much since it was a busy night. I believe the manager did notice that we had been waiting, so she respectfully apologized for the inconvenience and treated us to an appetizer on house. "The service from our waiter was fantastic, and they took great care of us. However, when our food was brought out, the sides were placed on the wrong plate. We easily fixed this by switching them, but my steak was slightly overcooked. I had asked for medium rare but it was more like medium well. Even though my husband dislikes sending food back, I decided to just enjoy it as it was. Despite this, we will return to the restaurant because of the excellent service. Next time, I might opt for fish instead."
