"We are from Kansas City Mo., and recently moved to east coast. We took the train from Philadelphia, to NYC to eat lunch at Blue Smoke. We were not disappointed, the ribs were served wet and were very moist, the chicken was served with dry rub and was not over cooked like you get in a lot of place's, the mac cheese could of used a little more smoke on it, the bean's were sweet, the Cole slaw was excellent. We had the Texas Twinkies for an appetizer that I'm going to try replicate, they were that good. I've not had the white BBQ sauce very many time's before so I can't say one way or the other, it was not bad on the chicken, the BBQ sauce had North Carolina vibe to it, but was good. All in all this is the closest thing to KC style BBQ that we have found on the east coast. We will go back again"
