"Lincoln Gourmet Deli is one place that has the convenience of being very close to a major transit hub, The Port Authority Bus Terminal, just one block away. Being on 9th Avenue, it doesn't get as much pedestrian traffic as any of its' 8th Avenue counterparts, but that becomes meaningless, because it truly is a gem amidst the grime of the area. Lincoln Gourmet Deli is a hybrid deli/bodega store, and thus becomes very useful to patrons. Their deli offers a plethora of sandwiches and wraps, enough to satisfy one's appetite. I had their veggie burger, and found it quite satisfying. It was ready quickly, and very substantial. One thing of note, my burger had a unique thickness and depth to it which in a veggie burger is, to say the least, unusual. That depth was what made it more enjoyable.
