"**Summary of the Review:** 1. Good food 2. Poor service 3. Unpleasant owner This restaurant is simply terrible. The food is quite enjoyable, particularly the breakfast items (you can’t beat $2.50 for a good mimosa). Unfortunately, the service leaves a lot to be desired. My recent visit was by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. There were five of us for breakfast, and after my brother received his meal, we didn’t hear from anyone for 30 minutes. He finished his food while the rest of us just sat there waiting. When our meals finally arrived, they were delivered in stages, and we had to constantly remind the staff about our orders and request items. Our water glasses remained empty for most of the time, and not all of us were given cutlery. To make matters worse, the owner or manager never made an effort to check on us or apologize for the delay. When the bill arrived, I expected some form of compensation after expressing our dissatisfaction to the server. Instead, we were charged the full amount. We had been there for an hour, and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. I wanted to speak with the manager but ended up talking to the owner instead. His attitude was appalling and disrespectful. He dismissed our complaints about the poor food and service and showed no concern for our unhappiness. Not only did he refuse to apologize, but he also made excuses about technical issues. When I pointed out that someone should have noticed our long wait, he told me to leave and accused me of cheating him. In the midst of a tough economic climate, the owner should be grateful for customers who can only afford to dine out occasionally. Instead, he treated us with disdain. I was left feeling frustrated and shocked. I don’t care about his problems or how bad his day might have been—there’s no excuse for treating customers poorly. I doubt this place will last another two years. Spend your money somewhere that values your business and cares about your experience. No amount of good food can make up for the lack of hospitality here."
