"Breakfast at Corner Bakery is always fun... not fancy, but pretty tasty. Portions are average size, employees are friendly, location is clean, and prices for main dishes (e.g. egg, pancakes bacon) are reasonable. . But, beware the add ons... drinks scrumptious looking pastries can easily double you bill. Don't be hesitant to request low calorie syrup... pretty good. But, don't expect soy creamer or anything soy based. Here things are made with milk/cream/cream cheese/butter... thus the buttery taste to all of their pastries."

"was so hot when it arrived! perfectly fresh! the anaheim panini is probably my favorite item on their menu. ALL of their pastas are good but i really love the chicken rosa pasta. i really miss the espresso drinks! particularly the mocha! they used to have an excellent mocha. im sad its gone."

"(2 months ago) Every table was dirty. None of the people behind the counter knew what they were doing and moved slowly. My food was cold to the touch (cold eggs). We stayed for a half hour or so, and in that time we watched customers come in and struggle to find a place to sit because it was so filthy. We brought our own Lysol wipes because we had a toddler, so we wiped down our own table. We also heard two workers loudly complaining about another staff member, and the funny thing was that the person they were complaining about was actually doing something, while they were doing nothing."

"Good food for $10-12 for a lunch (I drink water, so that saves a little). The majority of the building is an upscale restaurant, I bet this probably gets some day-old ingredients from there, but I'm okay with that. I'll be coming back."

"Today the power unfortunately went out and the credit card machines weren’t working properly. The place was busy and had people waiting for the machines to come back on. The staff was so polite and calm and apologetic (even though it wasn’t their fault). The manager was jovial to try and keep the situation calm but very attentive to the customers waiting. I already love this place but grateful to have had a stress free experience during something that could have been really bad. You guys are awesome!"

While they are good, I have had my fill and would really like to try the lemon bars I ordered, but still have yet to receive. "Carved Ham Swiss was excellent! The baguette, so fresh, delicious ham swiss! Made exactly as I requested! The side of fresh fruit was not fresh! Definitely an overnight leftover, not okay! Loaded Baked Potato Soup was hot, full of toppings absolutely delicious! Everything packaged perfectly arrived intact!"

"Great place to grab lunch, if you want something yummy and not too pricey in the middle of the work day/week. Got the BBLT and it has the perfect amount of bacon. Love the space very old school diner meets cafe meets restaurant. I believe they changed their plates to paper during the pandemic, which makes the presentation a little lackluster, but they had nice folks behind the counter. They were all helpful and ultimately I was satisfied. Is this a 5 star meal, no. Is it going to be my main lunch place? Unlikely. BUT will I be satisfied after eating my meal and will I enjoy the short time I spend in here, yes!"

"Corner bakery serves sandwiches, pastas, soups, and salads. A healthier and heartier alternative to Culvers. Similar experience to Panera Bread, with an upscale retro feel. Milwaukee is SLEEPING on this place! I got a whole MEAL for only 10$!!! I purchased a Choose Two , opted for a Club Panini and a Chicken Carbonara, which included a roll, as well as a drink. No gimmicks to sell itself, just real delicious homemade food made by talented staff The picture speaks for itself. (Roll not pictured... because I ate it haha, also I have eaten halfway through my delicious carbonara) Food is quality and the staff is a delight, I was able to study comfortably with several plugins available to me. Wifi is a little difficult to access, its a popup sign in. Overall, amazing experience, would come again to study and eat, the Choose Two option meal could serve 2 people in all honesty."
