"This was the first time visiting Grille 116 in about a year. Our food, as has been the case before, was delicious. However the atmosphere and to some extent, the service has definitely gone downhill. This used to be a great place for special occasions exquisite design, skilled wait staff and bartenders offering everything from craft cocktails to everyday well drinks, and delicious steaks and seafood. The food remains as good as I remembered, but everything else seems to have suffered in an attempt to bring in more business. While I don 't ever remember a strict dress code before, I never would have considered arriving wearing a t shirt and shorts. This no longer seems to be the case, as a majority of the other patrons seem to consider it casual dining in both dress and attitude. What was formerly an acceptable din of polite conversation and clanking and clattering of dishes was replaced with hoots and hollers from...less polite guests. Another example that particularly stuck out to me: the menus now include the following text at the top, We have re engineered our menu to offer better value to you to make Grille 116 a local 'EVERY OCCASION ' restaurant and not just a 'SPECIAL OCCASION ' restaurant. Calling this out in red letters on your menu seems cheap and vulgar to me more what I would expect from a place like Chili 's or Olive Garden than an upscale steakhouse."
