"Food was below average, our favourite dishes were the coconut shrimp and the hula pie which were fine but nothing special. The ceviche seemed to be fully cooked and had almost no flavour at all, just tomato fish and avocado with a few cold corn chips not like any ceviche we have ever had before. The lava flow cocktail was wayyy too sweet even with the dark rum float added and we could barely taste any alcohol we’ve had 3/4 of these while in Hawaii and this was the worst. We waited an additional 20mins to be seated as the table before us hadn’t finished yet and there were 8 10 other tables of people also waiting for their reservation, there was no sign of our waitress for at least another 10 mins once seated."

"The menu on open table had no info on Saturday night prime rib and salad bar only. I asked to just have a slice of prime rib and was told ,no . you must have rib and salad bar. all you can eat, Im not a big eater. OK I,ll have Fillet minion, I would like some green vegs with it , creamed corn is not green. I said 'ask the chef to go to the salad bar and grab some veges.' The dinner showed up with kale on the corn and mashed potatoes. Every one was happy with the dinner, the meat was good, thats the main thing. No happy birthday song"

"Our family had a wonderful meal here at Duke's. Three of us had the special, which was a grilled mahi mahi, and one had the Parmesan crusted fish of the day (opah) and it was all done quite well. The coconut rice was fantastic, and although the carrots were cooked a bit unevenly it all came together really well. The service was excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to come here again."

"Nice, beachside location with good view, great food, excellent service. A bit expensive, but this is to be expected here. I recommend a reservation. If you eat early enough, you can take advantage of their $7 valet parking instead of paying $10 per hour over the street in public parking. Loved the Hula Cake for Dessert and that we did it for free for our anniversary."

"I really didn’t want to like this place because of how tourist it was but it’s well worth it. The deck is great, every table has a view, and the food was right on. The fries could have used a couple more mins in the fryer but the burger was the best I’ve had in weeks. The fish was lacking in flavor a bit but you can’t beat the freshness of the islands. I know it isn’t very island-like or Hawaiian but you can find something for everyone on the menu. I recommend."

"The food was overrated and overpriced. Do not believe that the hype about this place!!! I had better fish tacos at Rubio's, this is fast food. The waiting period from when we ordered until our food arrived was very long. We sat inside what was good. There were many tables inside, so the place was not busy. The service was terrible. We had to refill our water and drinks as the server is over. When the food finally arrived, only half of our party received their plates. The other half had to wait another 15 minutes, which we had to ask for, because the server ignored us. Since half of the people at our table had just finished their food, the other half finally got their food, that was KOLD. We had to help the tables because the service was so bad."

"Both the Ententaco and the fish taco were special and delicious. A lot of fusion aromas were added to them, including Jalapeno. The shrimp deviled eggs were also delicious, but somehow salty, so better to take them with something else. The strawberry cream cake was famous and we came for it, it was not bad, with good amount of cream, strawberry and crust. Among all the beverages, I like the coconut cold (coffee) the best."

"We had a phenomenal experience at Duke’s. We had reservations and they were inside but the awesome staff was so accommodating and added another table to Blakes section so we could watch the sunset on the patio. Blake was beyond exceptional! He was super friendly, quick service, great drink recommendations. He even brought us a Hula Pie for our anniversary. Highly encourage everyone to stop in here. Even with limited hours and limited menu while getting operations back up and running they didn’t skip a beat. We’d give it 10 stars if we could"

"This was my first time visiting this place and I loved it! The food was delicious!!! And the service was great! No complaints at all. We went for brunch and tried the bottomless mimosas, best choice because the champagne was really good and cold. I found the prices very reasonable. I also tried the oysters and wow! So so good. "overpriced and underwhelming! also a very unnecessary process of initial ordering of drinks a counter, a number then a waiter will continue to be their server later. does not make sense. they would think they would get rid of a $20 burger. I guess I was the narr for ordering a $20 burger first; and not a good burger at this. could they find a smaller bungalow? the ding fell apart. 3 small fish tacos for $23 dollar and not even chips or salsa. lamb ragu “special” gnocchi. they could count the number of gnocchi on 1 hand. I guess the lack of one of the most important ingredients made it special. we live on the island and do not think that moku is oriented for local people. pity to you, merriman! her lack of generousness and worth is pitiful!"

"unfortunately the seafood did not taste fresh. the grilled fish was rubbery and the scallops tasted old. they had tasted the “old refrigerator” perhaps because there was a drop in moss, so that the seafoods are not turned fast enough. Last year the seafood was good."
