"Have eaten here several times. Was surprised that with a reservation we were still sitting at a booth looking into the kitchen. We could have asked to be moved, but we didn't want to. The waiter was very enthusiastic, but failed to fill glasses of water without being asked. My husband's lasagna was a huge brick in the middle of an unadorned plate. A little salad or something green and crispy would have been nice. Not an à la carte fan, especially when it comes to the price of the main course alone. The room was very dark and a bit noisy. I would ask not to sit in this area another time."

"A more elegant brunch/lunch place with a more open kitchen so you can see the cooks work! I highly recommend this place for brunch, the drinks are incredible and beautiful! I got the Good Witch and it was SO tasty. There was a drink called Purple Rain that's SO pretty! I very rarely see purple drinks that beautiful and Felicia. The burrata was a delicious meal but we shared it as an appetizer. The condiments with it were amazing! The daily popover (which is close to a yorshire pudding texture) is delightful but huge! We didn't realize it's came with 2 and it doesn't state that on the menu so recommend sharing it with one or even two people! I got the avocado baked eggs and it was delicious but a bit odd to eat. It was a whole avocado, cut in half, with a poached egg in each half but I want expecting the skin to still be on the avocado so it was awkward to eat. Overall it was delicious but the lack of descriptions to include important notes for the meals is the only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5. I wish the menu made mention that there were skins on the avocados or that the waiter could have looked at my party of 6 and suggested we split 3 popovers out at least make mention how big they are (we ordered 5 of them on top of our meals, drinks, and other appetizers and so it became wasteful). I want to add, for accessibility reasons: The restrooms are an adventure, I had to go upstairs and down a hall to get to it. There are elevators for those that can't take stairs though! Just a bit of a journey to get there."

"I often command from here. I am very picky when it comes to fish, but the fish here is always fresh and tasty. The salmon is freshly filled and baked. The sole is freshly baked and fried. The shrimp salad is made with cut large shrimps not tiny from a can. The tuna plate is very considerable. Cheesecake is always delicious. The people who deliver are always fast and friendly. "I made dinner reservations for three to celebrate my mother’s retirement. We went on a Friday evening and there was a live band. "I was hanging out with my friend, and we chose HOBNOB because they had fish&chips (that's all I wanted).My friend ordered the meatloaf dish.Our waitress was great! She was so attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The fish&chips... in my opinion, the portion didn't match the price. I get that we're in a recession, and the price of everything has gone up. However, $22 for two very small pieces of fish and a skimpy serving of fries was wild to me. I had to ask for extra fries. I mean... at least they seasoned the fries, I guess.My friend was underwhelmed with the meatloaf dish."

Our gracious and talented server José should be acknowledged as hands down one of THE best! He was just wonderful! He romanced us throughout the night with great stories of food origins and thoughtful preparation of each plate. We sat in arguably the loveliest and best spot in the house... over looking the dewy greens of LaCantera Resort with a warming lamp above and thick cozy blankets for us ladies who got a little chilly. The only bad thing about The Signature is having to leave! You must get: Drinks: Smokey Makers with chocolate bittersCab : Chilean Cabernet Le Petit Clos Valle de Apalta ‘yam on It’ martini w a fire roared marshmallow for dessert. It’s ridiculous!!! The halibut and filet mignon were mouth watering The cheese plate charcuterie plate worth killing your diet for. The Cesar salad was one of the best I’ve ever had. The petit four “gift” at the end...heavenly. Ask for seconds of their most perfect dinner roll with Smokey sea salted butter...the stuff dreams are made of! "I’ll keep this straightforward: the food was wonderful but the service was extremely disappointing. To clarify, the service wasn’t bad our food was well timed, drinks refilled, check came at a reasonable time. However, multiple members of the staff seemed bothered to be working? No greeting from our server, no small talk, fought to get extra bread with our tartare, couldn’t get our questions answered about the dishes, and everyone was very short with my guest and me. For a fine dining experience, I would expect an all inclusive experience including good service. I highly recommend the management spend some time retraining staff and focus on customer experience."

"We had a lovely experience at this restaurant. We decided to dine here for our anniversary. As soon as we were seated, the waitstaff surprised us with a Happy Anniversary card, which we thought was a thoughtful gesture. The ambiance was delightful and our waitress provided excellent service. While my steak was delicious, my wife thought her scallops were just average. We enjoyed our experience so much that we returned the next day for breakfast, which was also very tasty. Overall, we would definitely revisit this restaurant and try more of their offerings."

"I'm just giving 3 stars because of the service we received tonight. We are locals to Annapolis and we love the place! We go there a few times a week, Mark the bartender so beautiful and almost all there. Tonight we went there with our friends and I ordered a slightly dirty martini that I had ordered almost every time I went there. The Martini was dirty Thai I really liked it and I asked the waitress if she can make less dirty, less olive juice. She stood there to argue with me that she had only little olive juice at one point was very unpleasant. Very disappointed by the way she treated herself and the thing that if I wasn't there with a friend, I would have risen and gone. She finally took it back and made it to my wishes, but the evening was ruined for me. All I ask for Rustikal, please train your staff! We also ordered the special fish that they have later to find out they ran out of Halibut. We ordered the rock fish instead of the main menu. I had it last week and I really enjoyed it. The waitress suggested that they could blur if they want, and we said yes. 2 of the rock dishes that were dipped black came out with different risotto and vegetables. The original one of our other friends ordered came out with the original Risotto and the Broccoli. I was sure why they decided to change the whole dish just because we wanted the fish to be blackened. Not one of the dining rooms on this place. Too bad because one of our friends has never eaten there."

"4 of us dined at Brown Dog on a Saturday evening. I had specifically asked if we could dine outdoors. There were many outdoor tables available. The host told me “possibly” when I asked about dining outside, but then we were seated indoors without any explanation. Here it was a beautiful evening be they stuck us in a dimly lit corner. Which would have been fine if it was the only table available but that didn’t appear to be the case. We weren’t too far from the kitchen and it was very loud. It sounded like trays of dishes were being dropped off every couple of minutes. The food was good, but not something we can’t wait to eat again."

"I've been here a handful of times and I don't know why I keep going back. It's always mediocre at best. Today, I ordered chicken lemon rice soup and it was way too salty. I also had an order of fish and chips and the fish was okay but the oil it was deep fried in must've not been hot enough because the batter was soaked in oil. very mushy and not crispy. also drink prices are a little ridiculous. $3 for a 16 oz lemonade and half of it is ice. Really wanted to like this place but I guess its just not that great to me."
