"I work part-time as a Ubereats delivery driver and on the evening of 1/28/2024, I was picking up an order. It seems that the staff at the restaurant misunderstood me because of my Chinese background and mispronunciation of the customer's name. As I was leaving, I overheard a blonde-haired lady at the front desk making derogatory comments about my English proficiency, assuming I wouldn't understand. This experience was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. It is important for the restaurant to properly train their staff and ensure they maintain a level of professionalism at all times. "Love taco Tuesday at Rubio's. The salsa bar is kept very clean. If I had a correction to make I'd have some plastic bags by the salsa bar so you can bag a few limes and jalapenos when you get your food to go. Otherwise the store is beautiful. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious."

"Okay so I love Rubio's. When I first discovered them I was addicted to the fish taco especial's. The pesky combo was my go to meal every time I visited. Well now I've been to Rubio's so many times I realize that I pretty much like ALL their food. Currently is the coastal trio that I'm loving. So this is the first time I went to this Rubio's because I recently started working near this one and getting lunch daily at Gravity Heights can put you in the poor house. So I suggested to a CO worker that we go here one day and we can have a glass of wine here as well! Well we were beyond disappointed because this location only serves beer (don't get me wrong I'm a beer longer too), which is a bummer because we love the food and how close it is and it would save us A TON of money IF we decided to have a glass of two of wine at lunch time. Of course my job frowns upon that and we have taken that into consideration. Anyway the cashier was very hard to understand, not just because of the mask, that's understandable- but he mumbled and spoke very low. Not unfriendly though. All in all it was a good experience. "I’m visiting from out of town, and I actively sought out Rubio’s because of multiple previous positive experiences. Of course, I ordered the original fish tacos. Unfortunately, tonight’s experience needed some improvement: the air conditioning wasn’t working; there was no ice available for drinks; and the fish in the tacos was folded in half before frying (almost like a ball) which is just not compatible with a taco. I’ll be back, though."

"We went here to eat because we always eat at a Mexican restaurant while on vacation. But this was a mistake!! My wife ordered 2 chicken tacos and I ordered a chicken and cheese casadilla and was totally disappointed. We got our food and took a bite and spit it out because the chicken literally tasted like tuna. And was the consistency of moist cat food. Mine should have had grilled chicken, but had tuna chicken instead. Totally discussing. And I had to send mine back because they brought me out only cheese. Then I get something I didn’t even end up eating anyway."

"However, there was another issue when I noticed that my order had been entered incorrectly as a mango avocado salad instead of the avocado corn taco salad that I had actually ordered. Despite showing them the menu item, the staff insisted that they did not have the salad I wanted and suggested removing the mango from my order. When I finally received my food, it was not what I had originally ordered. Despite showing them a picture of the menu from my phone, the staff seemed unconcerned and offered to remake the dish that they had told me they did not have. Frustrated with the service and errors in my order, I requested a refund for the incorrect meal. The lack of apology or accountability from the staff left me feeling unsatisfied with my experience, and I do not plan on returning to this location. I hope they improve their service in the future."
