"here is one of the first Japanese restaurants in new york city. I visited with my American friend for a kind of farewell party, feels like I would visit a restaurant in japan. all the dishes were very good and demanding."

"One of the best Peking ducks we have ever had. The hot pot was an experience, although the prepared food was so outstanding that next time we might just let the chef prepare all our food rather than DYS hot pots."

"Chuan Du lives up to expectations! The food is always tasty and fresh. The staff is kind and accommodating. The only downside is that it tends to be chilly inside, so it's a good idea to bring a jacket if you get cold easily. I suggest skipping the $30 all-you-can-eat option - my group of 3 saved $20 by ordering a la carte and we still had plenty of delicious food to enjoy."
