"It had been many years since we had been to Charcoal Venice. Unfortunately, our experience on Saturday 8/12/23 was less than satisfactory, and we probably won 't be back. We ordered several starters, and were told they would be coursed out. Well, that didn 't happen, and we actually sent something back, stating we weren 't ready for it. Our waitress told when we ordered, we needed to order everything we wanted at once, that 's how the chef wants orders placed. We weren 't sure how much more food we would want after the starters, so chose to take our chances, and wait for anything else we wanted. We were so disappointed with our dining experience, or lack there of, we decided not to order anything else. In fact, we ordered a second round of drinks, in hopes of slowing down the pace of everything. Had we not done that, our dining experience would have been over in about 45 minutes. Not okay!!! Charcoal Venice, your prices are too high to rush people through their meal!"
