"My experience at niu jiao jian hot pot on Saturday, 7/16/2022 was less than satisfactory. Upon arrival, we were barely greeted by the waiter and he did not provide any explanation of the hot pot process, despite it being our first time there. The price was $30 per person, with only a set menu available. The waiter was unhelpful and borderline rude, snatching the menu away and starting to set up our table as if we were incapable. We only needed a brief explanation of how to proceed with the round of hot pot. The service was poor and the food was mediocre. When I inquired about noodles and shells, I was told they did not have any and had to settle for a bowl of seasoning. Customers who arrived after us had the proper utensils while I had to ask for more strings for the hot pot. Despite leaving a tip, the waiter added an additional tip to our bill after we had left, resulting in an extra $30 charge. I urge caution when using credit or bank cards at this establishment to avoid potential fraudulent activities. This behavior is unacceptable and should not be tolerated."
