"Unfortunately we had our first visit the same time as our last visit. Service was very lacking, our waiter cared more about chatting with other tables. The food was… interesting. They serve French onion soup with kids paper scissors so that you can cut the cheese. Did not feel comfortable using non-food grade scissors on my food when i had a perfectly good knife. The French onion soup was also probably one of the worst I’ve ever had. The broth/soup liquid was very weird and the bread in it was absolute mush, like they use regular sandwich white bread. Unfortunately I couldn’t eat more than 2 bites and wasted my money on it. NONE of our food was hot. Onion rings, soup, kids chicken all could be eaten straight away without needing to cool off. This means our food was sitting and waiting for our waiter for a while. Don’t get me started on the prices. Some of their prices resemble that of an upscale restaurant, which this is not. $14 for an appetizer of spinach dip!!"

"The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the pizzas seem a bit overpriced for what you get. The cocktails are also on the expensive side and may not be worth the cost. However, the atmosphere is nice and the service is excellent."

"We had the honor of hosting our 5-Year Anniversary party at Southern Cross Kitchen this month. For starters, everything was perfect! Kevin Markee made sure to accommodate for everything that we had envisioned for the night. We were first greeted by the wonderful hostess’s downstairs and directed to head upstairs. Upstairs was decorated beautifully and was the perfect size to host our party of about 50 people. The food was amazing, and staff constantly made sure to refill trays when they were getting low. The bartenders were very friendly and quick. We were even offered live music by soloist, Alex, who was amazing and really set the ambiance in the room. It was truly an awesome night, and we are very happy that we were able to support a fellow Woman Owned Business while celebrating our 5-Year Anniversary, we can’t wait to visit again in the future! "Met up with some of my relatives here for lunch. Brought my baby in her car seat, and they set up a stand for it, which was nice (strollers are welcome too, at least when it's not too busy). Out of the five of us, four of us ended up getting the same thing! We got the Three Pepper Bomb with the fried chicken breast. It was cooked perfectly: flavorful and very crispy/crunchy. It is on the pricier side, with a burger/sandwich running about $16-18. They do come with a side of fries, normal or waffle, which are well seasoned. Didn't end up getting any whiskey this time. So I'll have to come back"

"The service and setting was A+. The cheese tray was okay with no presentation points. We had filet with chardonnay reduction (tender/good flavor) and a cowboy ribeye (disappointing). Our selected sides were green beans (so good and lobster mash potatoes (I'd order them again)."

"Original Roadhouse is one of our favorite places to dine. The service is wonderful and the food fantastic. The meals begin with delicious warm rolls and butter. The salad is always fresh and tasty. I’ve enjoyed the salmon, ribs, steaks, and many other wonderful entrees. I usually eat the same thin when I go out, but I always try different things here and they have all been wonderful. I look forward to each visit. I’ve even hosted several gatherings here."

"We were first exposed to the greatness of Stack 571 at their Vancouver location. Shocked to find this part of a mall. Nevertheless, we were pleasantly surprised to find a location in Olympia! It is one of our favorite burger spots so it was hard to pass up on an opportunity to sink out teeth into a juicy burger. The Three Pepper Bomb and the Bahn Mi Burger (on lettuce) are our favorites. You can't go wrong with any of the burgers. We also enjoy the brussel sprouts as an appetizer. To top of a great meal, their fresh milkshakes (strawberry) are always a good go to! Can't go wrong with burgers here!!"
