"Let’s start by pointing out the padded velvet walls. They’re beautiful and luxurious, yet they are warm and inviting. I joined my family of six(1 toddler) for a light dinner to hold us over for late drinks and desserts. We started with two appetizers, with the white truffle parmigiano toast and the potato gnocchi. Both were rich and flavorful. The toast was small though not in the come on, you’re sharing this amongst 5, but small for two people to share. For our second course, we split three entrees, snapper, duck breast, and hangar streak. I would order all three again, but the snapper the would be my preference. None of the cocktails were calling to me, so I ordered a sazerac. It was a classic and true expression of the cocktail."
