"Very sad to hear that this location is closing. Back in 1992, when I first moved to NYC, it was on a list of must-dos, based on growing up watching movies set in the Big Apple. In the years since, I made many return visits, though only sometimes fashioning the famous double-decker slice consumed by John Travolta in the opening sequence of Saturday Night Fever.The pizza itself was always pretty mediocre. There are better slices to be had within blocks. But it's about nostalgia community. The NYC of old is slowly dying. I wish I could be there for the wake."
