"cohens is always “bad”, but we have taken our chances and it was not bad, but it was also not good. the menu was interesting, but most of what we ordered, we couldn't taste, it was so strongly seasoned with hot spices! the restaurant was quite empty, but the service was still slow and uneven. once again we were disappointed, but not so much that we do not try again, but not soon and certainly not with anyone with whom we are not close."

"The food was ???? The portions were huge and the flavor great. Their prices were still reasonable. Don't order the Ultimate unless you're really ready to eat! It is HUGE. Their French toast with apples and pecans tastes like a warm apple pie. Theirserver was great, Doane our waiter was friendly and took great care of us. The Manager also was helpful and welcoming. Irecommend it as an affordable and classy restaurant to start an amazing morning."

"Took my wife to Caspers for a date and try something different. The Perry district is a gem and Caspers fits right in. We sat outside and the Pub next door had live acoustic music which made our dinner even more enjoyable. The Pork Belly appetizer was delicious, and the entrees were good (not great). The real highlight is the neighborhood vibe and friendly service"

"My friends and I went to this restaurant for New Years and we were disappointed with the food. The service was average, but we ended up spending $170 on dry baked chicken, two drinks, and just okay service. I have had much better dining experiences elsewhere."

"I just arrived in Phoenix from Orlando and was looking for a nearby diner as I can't eat before or during my flight. I found one near the airport and decided to try their Machaco breakfast burrito. It was large and unique, with a flaky pastry crust instead of a traditional tortilla. The Machaca meat was delicious and they even gave me a choice of two salsas, one spicy and one even spicier! The food was excellent, they offer carry-out options, and the restaurant has 9 tables inside with a very friendly staff. I noticed they also have BBQ on the menu, so I may have to come back to try that. The only downside was having to go outside to the space next door to use the bathroom, but hopefully that's a sign of an upcoming expansion of the restaurant."

"The service at this restaurant was quick and attentive. The waitstaff was knowledgeable about the spirits and wine menu. We started with the deviled eggs, which were well worth the $6 price for half an egg each. The sashimi-style presentation was a burst of flavors, combining egg, pickled, mustardy, and creamy elements. Next, we tried the bone marrow, which was served with ramps and garlic buttered bread, giving it a rustic and Appalachian vibe. It melted in our mouths and was absolutely delicious. I would fly back across the country just to have the bone marrow again! I am visiting from Portland, OR. For our main course, my husband and I had the fried chicken and pork chop, both cooked to perfection and incredibly flavorful. We finished our meal with banana bread topped with fluff, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream, which was fantastic."

"I love the increasing homey feel, there’s lots going on there, that you can see the owners regularly, and it feels like you’re old friends. I felt that even before knowing Noah and Lauren. Thanks for opening up your arms and hearts to the community!! I can’t wait to see what else is in store!"

"Please note: this review pertains specifically to the former Struthers location. We were truly delighted with our dinner at the Kitchen Post, where the presentation was beautiful and the flavors nearly perfect. On this visit, we tried the catfish tacos with a side of cheddar grits and the shepherd's pie. The only minor drawback was the portion size of the shepherd's pie; however, it was quite satisfying without being too much. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy in a fast-casual style. Our meal for two came to under $20, including drinks. I believe the pictures will speak for themselves, and I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a unique dining experience away from the usual spots. We look forward to returning for another enjoyable meal."

"eating was ok, setting funky cool, restaurant was busy and energetic....all good things were taken away from the terrible service. we were a table of women and it became clear that our waiter became more attentive to tables with men who became very frustrating. we had 3 bottles of champagne in the run of the night that I had to pour on my friends every time, as our waiter was always gone. the manager even observed me and did nothing. we asked for another waiter and were told no. one of my friends is a food writer. big mistakes for the restaurant, as they never know who they serve."

"Omg. Amazing. I'm a 300lb male who just stared to eat vegan and healthier. A friend at physical therapy told me about this place and to try the vegan philly cheesesteak. It was amazing. The flavor, the texture and paired it with the beet fries amazing. My wife had the cauliflower bites and a veggie wrap that was amazing as well. We drove all the way from white plains and will do it again."

"Been to the Johns Island location a couple of times now, and the MP location is every bit as good. The people, the food, the coffee, everything is always amazing. I recommend them to anyone that asks about good brunch in CHS. Not only are they one of the best in the area, but they?re also super affordable. The mimosa I had was strong, not watered down oj."
