"Been traveling to Bedford for years and this was my first time trying Cafe Escadrille. I feel foolish now for never coming here before. I was thoroughly satisfied with my app and entree. Started out with the deviled eggs and was a nice start. But the prime rib was the show stopper! It’s now one of my top 10 PR’s in the country. Will be my go to every time I over night in Bedford. Was cooked to perfection! And was a great price for the amount of food I was served. I highly recommend this place. Come out and support your local businesses and avoid chains!"

"The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding; the staff is very accommodating! The diner is also handicapped accessible. I have been dining here for many years, usually visiting at least once a week, if not more. It's a fantastic value for your hard-earned money! I highly recommend Eastbay Diner! Parking: The parking lot is spacious, with designated handicapped spaces for easy access to the diner. Wheelchair accessibility: My husband used a wheelchair for many years, and this was a great place for us since access was smooth, and the owner and staff were incredibly accommodating. I can’t emphasize enough how kindly they treated my husband. While the exterior doors don’t open automatically, the staff were wonderful about holding the doors open for us, which is a big help for caregivers. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Greek Salad, Pancakes, French Toast, Crock of French Onion Soup Au Gratin, Burger, Chicken Cutlet Parmigiana, Chicken Fingers with Fries, Cole Slaw, Greek Gyro. "It’s like I want to give them 5 stars for their effort and it’s really hard to find a 24/7 place that even has vegan options... but literally almost all vegan options that they have are tofu-based. And it’s not even cooked well or seasoned. If they put as much creativity and effort into their vegan corner as in 98% animal products based massive menu, they could’ve made so many delicious options for vegans.. like tofu is not the only thing we eat. Their vegan menu pretty much represents the common idea among omnivores that vegan diet is plain, super limited and boring, when it couldn’t have been any further from the truth. All it takes is a little research."

"This diner is nice and quaint. Seemed like the place to go for the locals. The wait staff knew most of the patrons inside. The food was delicious. Orders came out rather quicky. Everything ordered was tasty. I had a young child with me, the staff offered them coloring/activity pages and crayon. The child I was with was pleasantly surprised when they saw they had pages of activities and not just a single page to color. The crayons provided were crayons of different colors outside of the standard red, blue, and red. The wait staff was fun. Very attentive to the table. If ever in the area again, I would go back."

"Casa de Colombia is a favorite of me, especially when it happens a Colombian fútbol game. That was not the case that this trip for lunch, which means it is not so loud or busy. I enjoy the aromas from South America. I must start with the Tequeños Venezuelan cheese sticks. The dough is great! In addition, a maracuya (Barmobst) had juice. A lot of juice selection. I went and ordered a few things going around here to get sweet curtains, an empanada and arepa and sopa de ajiaco. The empanada too long (and should have been composed); I think they forgot. 4 stars because the service was not the best, unfortunately."

"I don't leave reviews, but we fell in love with their food, especially the... (wait for it... Croissant bread pudding. It. Was. AMAZING! And our server, wish we caught her name, was exceptional. She was very attentive, but allowed us our space. And when she discovered we are friendly people, and traveling thru the area, gave us suggestions of things to do/see. Highly, highly recommend Stock and Barrel!"

"We had a great experience having brunch at this restaurant! After missing the Cross Sound Ferry back to Rhode Island, we stayed at a nearby hotel and found this place near the Sayville ferry. Despite the Sunday morning rush, we were able to snag bar seating. I ordered the corned beef hash which was delicious and clearly made from scratch. My companion got the eggs and avocado Benedict with turkey bacon, also tasty. The specialty drink menu looked tempting, especially the cereal and mimosa flights. Although our server could have been more attentive, I would definitely make the effort to dine here again before or after catching the Sayville ferry. It's no wonder why this place is a local favorite."

"PROS: This diner is slightly higher than other diners. The quality of the food was better than usual, and the menu was a regular diner menu. The place had a nice layout and a waiting staff that was very well maintained, beautiful and knowledge about the menu. Some diners have a waiting staff acting like they don't want to be there, but it was different here. The mood you get from these people was great. It was very clean and the owner even came by to welcome us. CONS: Parking is terrible! You are either lucky enough to park on the street or you need to park in their crumb parking the size of a highway. OVERALL: This is not a bad diner, one of the best actually. In addition to the parking lot, the food and the service was great and the atmosphere was a bit higher. I recommend it!"

"In the past, I had said that the Washington House served one of the 2 most memorable steaks I ever had. No more it was tasteless. Everything was over salted. I had heard that a slug would shrivel if doused with salt. That is what happened to my mouth. Do not order the painkiller cocktail. I do not know how you can screw up a fruit and rum drink, but they managed to do it. I drank it fast just to get rid of it. The only thing they prepared that was digestible was the coffee. The service was fine."

"I came in at 9:30 pm after work and just wanted a good meal before heading back to my hotel. I ordered a chicken wrap with bacon and cheddar, fries, and a vanilla shake for a comfort meal and everything was as I expected for diner food: delicious. The wait staff was also very friendly and the other customers at the bar top were up for a nice conversation. Shout out to Marcela!"

"I met my cousin and his two sons here for breakfast last Sunday morning. It was nice and cool and we had breakfast on the patio. Everything about it was fantastic. Atmosphere, service, food. I lived in New Jersey for 40 years, and lived in Florida for the past 18. I miss diners. They are a rare thing in Florida. This diner was great. I spent a few minutes talking to the manager before I was seated. A very nice man who is running an excellent diner."

"Malarkey's does not use OpenTable for reservations. The owner personally came to our table and apologized for the inconvenience, explaining that they do not have a partnership with OpenTable. Despite this, they were able to find another table for our party of eight, much to our delight."

"The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was I asked for a box for left overs, the waitress said she would box it up in the kitchen, I ask her to be sure to put in the fat I had trimmed off so I could give it to my dog. When we got home all I had was the fat scraps. Didn't get the nice piece of steak I definitely wanted to keep. Next time will request the box and put our leftovers in ourselves."

"I like the food, but the seasoning on the fries is not my cup of tea (not bad just not for me). There is an option when you order to have them not seasoned, which I chose for one of them since my husband does like the seasoning. I'll order again at some point and order both fries not seasoned, and if it's right, I'll change my review. The burgers are simple but really good. The Nashville chicken sandwich is really good too."

"Staff was great. Server was top notch. Made my own burger through their process. Everything looked good. The burger itself looked like it was boiled instead of grilled. Was soggy and did not look very appealing. Was for someone else's with a birthdayso did not say anything to spoil the mood. The area that we were sitting in was particularly HOT like there was no AC on inthat area. Was not busy due to start of State Fair."

"As always, BCB delivers with great and innovative food, locally sourced ingredients and attentive wait staff. Gregowner always manages to have some new wines appropriate for the season and as always, great craft beers on tap. And if you're a bourbon drinker, not a better selection around"
