"So, Deer Park Tavern has Tator dead and **** mares... that's pretty much why we left. You do a **** mary bar where they bring your choice of alcohol and then you will make it with your choices for mixers, hot sauces, spices, etc. We didn't do that, but it looks like they had a few things. We had the monte cristo and the ranch-style eggs (I forgot the name). Deads were perfect. **** Mary was good. Monte cristo was the right ratio of sweet to savory, but much too much loaf ham meat. Ranch eggs came in a fried tortilla taco bowl it was just too big and strange. But the eggs weren't bad. The hardest part of this trip waited for the waiting staff, Ali. She retrained someone and I understand you might be busy. But they and their trainees just hang around as they chat in their backs. Then we noticed, came out and got our order (we already knew, since we sat there, waited for them), and we did not see it again until we and another table were looking for her so that we could pay our bills. She couldn't even be harassed to bring out our food or ask how it was. Then on the way out while I went through the door, another employee ventured through the door at the same time. I guess she was in a super hurry? Anyway, it seemed really rude. The employees were all likely in their early 20s, in college, trying to make it, but a little more polite or customer service could go their time to get faster on their layers and make them a little more money!"

"My family and I visited Alloro DOC on Christmas Day for an early dinner and were so disappointed in the service and food we received. Our reservation was at 3:30pm and we arrived at 3:10pm. We were left standing at the hostess stand for 10 minutes while the wait staff looked directly at us and ignored us. When we asked to be seated they said there were told there were no tables available. At that time the restaurant was virtually empty. I explained that we had reservations and they agreed to seat us. No apology for being rude. I took into consideration that it is the holidays and I am sure they were understaffed. However after sitting with nothing but water for 20 minutes. I finally got up and asked for a menu to review. That's when the waitress explained to me that there was no menu and we were to choose from two menu options. I wish we were told there was going to be a holiday pre-fix menu upon booking the reservation. Because there was no menu; there was no way for me to know the caesar salad I ordered included apricots. Who expects apricots in a caesar salad? The wait staff offered no acknowledgement for the slow service and the confusion. We were even told we couldn't have rolls with our meal. I could go on but you get the point. If you go there, leave immediately and go across the street to Culver's where at least you can get service with a smile, hot food and decent treatment."
