"the chicken gum and the fried garnels were good. we think the roasted okra had too much brot, the waffelfries were not so good, the coleslaw was much too sour to eat and the beignets lacked taste. I had really hoped that the cat would be wonderful, but it wasn't the best in the city. it comes in a long filet that is thick so it is too wet throughout the middle. I know it's my favorite that wels are thin and crispy, so I was disappointed. they call the Koleslaw tanggie, but it was shocking tangie. we tried this place for the first time and went to him for a date night. I was disappointed when we first came in. very casual and I would say rough concrete floor, long bar with some high tables, 4-5 stands with padded seats, and then simple wooden and chairs on the back where we sat. no style of new orleans except in the deck of the back room. the heat didn't work, so it was cold back there. we were stuck in the back corner and had to spice and ask the paper towel napkins for our table. there is a big tw in the back room. it was just not the quality of the decor and the ambient that we had expected. not even furnished, as well as a chilis or applebees. we'd smoke it well if that had blown us away. we spent a lot of money to try an appetizer, three entrees count the gummy, and one dessert, but were not impressed. then add them pay $20 to park because no parking spaces are provided at all, and it was simply not the cost I would pay if it were amazing food."
