"this place was absolutely fantastic for a night out! we reserved a table for Valentine's Day and everything was perfect. the atmosphere was so amazing, beautiful enough to wear a suit, but casual enough to wear a little half casual, so no real expectations to feel formal. the food and the service were over par and the waiting staff was very helpful for a few tourists. "My recent visit to Roggies for lunch on a Sunday was a pleasant experience. With only four people in the restaurant, the service was excellent. Located near Boston College, Roggies is a sports bar so we didn't have high expectations for a fine dining experience, but we were not disappointed. While the appetizer platter was bland, the Lobster Roll and Pastrami Burger entrees were surprisingly tasty. The breakfast entrees also looked appealing. It's worth noting that Roggies is a college bar with a slight stale beer odor and unstable chairs, so it may not be ideal for a family outing. However, their pizza takeaway option is delicious and worth considering."

"The place is a good old Greek restaurant with which I grew up in my hometown. The food was super duper excellent! A little slow on the service, but I still value this restaurant high. The Spot Restaurant gives you the good old, cozy feeling. The food is excellent. The location on Upper Front Street is a beautiful place, just don't understand why they have these stupid traffic circles in Binghamton. Whoever thought about it really had her head up there shirt!"

"I was with 5 other women together on 1. Friday every month in one of our houses. I live an hour from the rest, so I decided to have my turn in the chateau. We enjoyed cocktails and many appetizers. Jenn was our server and let us take our time, enjoy the company and food. Jenn was the perfect waitress for our group. Thank you."

"The server was great the place is nice has a nice old-school vibe to it who's there for the prime rib it was good The seafood platter I didn't really like that much server was very good and intentive her name was Katie and the manager name was Penny and she was very nice and happy and she helped us with the menu and give us a better idea. The lobster pie was good could use a little bit more filler or more more more stuffing the stuffed mushrooms are great but definitely be coming back here again I want to try other things on the menu I had a lot of good recommendations from my way to waitress also I love the popovers that they give you at the beginning"

"First time back after over a year! Was wonderful seeing all the familiar faces again. We felt very welcome there. The food was delicious, husband had the lasagna with meat sauce. Huge amount of it, at least 3 meals. He said it was great. I had my own creation— I felt like a cheeseburger. They have one on the menu which I’ve had before as takeout and it was very good. I ordered the burger with Swiss cheese , sautéed onions, mushrooms and roasted peppers. I tossed aside the top roll and the tomato and the raw red onion. Put the shredded lettuce on top the burger a little mayo and ketchup and I was good to go! Open faced cheeseburger. Delish, couldn’t finish it. Mustn’t forget the ff very tasty, different from what I remember, better! All in all it felt good to be there."

"Normally, we have a good experience here. However this occassion was not that great. I ordered prime rib and my wife ordered filet mignon both medium rare. When the food came out, my prime rib was ice cold and her filet was medium well to well. Sent both of them back and they came back, eventually, fine. As a result though, we were there a long time just twiddling our thumbs. When the check came, they hadn't compensated us in any way for the inconvenience. I had to complain in order to get some compensation on the bill. At other restaurants where there has been a problem, they have always done something. Service wasn't that good that night either. We had reservations and got seated right away. There was quite a lag between a server coming to our table. Our drinks took a really long time to arrive as well. They were busy but there were a lot of available tables."

"Love the ambience. Eating is a strong point, but not an upright Bonafide-Platten-Mover imo. It is the combination of the look and decor and also the family atmosphere with above average Italian food that really wants me back. I mean, they offer good Italian bread as an appetizer. Not many places that are not mum and pop, do that more. And the chicken parm I ate was very good. I also have acidic reflux and my stomach is super picky about which acid it settles. Some retail brands don't do that. And it's done in the house."

"Great Italian and seafood. Their pizza is one of the best around. They have a great tasting pizza dough that cooks up with a nice crispy crust. The meatballs are excellent and you can get them as an appetizer. They have a full menu selection and I can’t say I’ve ever had a bad meal there. If you need gluten free, you’re in luck, they have gluten free pasta that’s very good. The prices are very reasonable. During busy times there’s rarely more than 15 minute wait which is excellent for this area. They also offer a large takeout menu for pickup and delivery Uber eats, Grubhub, etc. . They also have a great takeout order app that tracks your order and lets you know when the order is ready and when it was picked up."

"Took our CA visitors for late lunch/early dinner. The waiter was awesome so was the food. Clam chowder, whole clam dinner so lightly battered it melted in your mouth, burgers were perfection sweet potato fries. Not greasy, just delish. Steak cooked to exact temp. We love a booth, but they have high tops outside dining as well. We were not rushed out. Recommend to anyone, but make a reservation."
