"New Years Eve Pre-fixe dinner. 70pp. Two of us had dinner at 7 pm. Service was very nice. We switched beer for champagne which was included. I give them a B for effort but our steaks were not well prepared. Don't trust the photos you see from restaurant. I had filet of Oscar and my husband had a ribeye. His was very fatty to a fault therefore presentation was terrible. It needed to be trimmed. It was warm at best. Came with potatoes. My fillet was so undercooked when ordered MR that it was barely warm. Served with mashed potatoes topped with hidden crab and overcooked soggy asparagus. Béarnaise topped. It was very sloppy all around. Could have been a good entre with an experienced cook that could grill and plate the meal professionally. The ribeye was a loss... to bad. Included dessert: a bland cheese cake and a good apple crisp. Swiss Chalet in Santa Maria is incredible for steaks and fillet or chicken Oscar. Spend the and go there."

"We stayed a couple of time waiting for a waiter, place seeemed to be abandoned, when we were about to leave I decided to go over the kitchen entrance and call for someone that appears to don’t care, came, put us seated, placed empty, I had to ask for menus, ordered burgers, took an eternity, worst burger have ever eaten, definitely not worthy a penny go to that place that is the main attraction if the hotel, by the way we were staying in the hotel, will never came back neither to the hotel. It was lunch time, and if I would have gone to Mac Donald’s it would at least be paying for what I get."

"The waiter was very knowledgeable and the service was fast. I ordered the ribs as not fatty, but that apparently really meant cooked until there was no fat which caused the meat to be overcooked and dry. "This refurbished train station has a cool, authentic interior which is good to see compared to the more typical newer re-creation interiors of many Atlanta bars and restaurants. At 6:00 PM Sat, identical type request, none received. Phoned Tuesday 19, 2022 11:30 AM pressed stated reservation button. Spoke to male who confirmed reservation and for private room with one long table as we had dined in previously. NINE PM, that evening, girl phoned saying mistaken room not available. Spoke to Mark Mgr. saying reservations only through a separate Co. lady. Where was she all day Monday 18th She has off Mondays REALLY, On Boston Marathon Monday, Red Sox game Holiday with half million coming to town? This day she hadn't arrived when I phoned. Opps, Mgr. who accepted reservation did not look at book Cannot accept Sat. Reservation entire restaurant booked by party of 75 even Pvt. room. They arrive at 6:30 PM. I requested 3:00 PM!!! Received from Reservation lady email curtly saying only she could make reservation. Mgr. pressed me to accept this Co. other restaurant, Reel House. No Thank you 9:40 PM received confirmation of requested Sat. 23, 3:00 PM confirmation of reservation. 9:55 PM Mark Mgr. phones saying he sent it to ME IN ERROR. Seemingly intending to email to another favored person. This Co. words are not their Bond. This caused me EMOTIONAL DISTRESS."

"Probably the worst dining experience ever. When we ordered there were 2 tables with diners. We ordered 2 appetizers, drinks, and 4 burgers which came with fries. The drinks came, and after quite awhile we asked for the apps and they said they were coming. We asked again and they said they would come with the burgers which we said was not okay. The brought the apps and they were tasty. Then they brought 4 huge baskets of fries and said the burgers were coming. My rare burger came first. It was medium well I sent it back. About 10 minutes later someone else’s burger came cold with non melted cheese but she decided to eat it. After 40 minutes we asked for the manager and she said I M sorry the kitchen is backed up can I get you anything we had 2 beers which they charged us for. About 15 minutes later another cold burger came out and he decided to eat it. Then my burger came back out and they had put cheese on it (I am lactose intolerant) and I sent it back. 10 more minutes another burger to me, cooked pink with an almost frozen roll. I let it, put the roll aside and ate the burger. Still no 4th burger. Another 10 minutes and the last burger came and it was cold and by this time we had had it it was sent back and our friend said he did not want a replacement and he would eat at home. They took the burgers off the bill, charged us for the extra beers. We paid, tipped the waitress on what should have been the whole bill. She was sweet and beside herself with the horrible experience. You could not pay us to go back."

"Recently I saw two movies in one day at the Gateway and had about an hour between the two. We decided to spend that hour checking out this bar since it was happy hour. We sat at the bar but there were lots of tables and cool screens to give the idea you're in a submarine. I asked the happy hour deals and was told $5 drafts. When we got our bill for cocktails only they were about 20-25% off so that must also be part of happy hour, unless the menu prices are wrong. The first drink I got, Through the Fog, was a cocktail version of a London Fog latte. It was good but would benefit from maybe some lavender syrup. My other drink, Parlay, was very unique with matcha flavors. The bartender was really nice and personable. There is a slight risk here that you might hear a movie spoiled. We had to kind of plug our ears at one point as other people in the bar were talking about the movie we were about to see. The prices here are a bit steep so I wouldn't say it's somewhere I'd go all the time but I would stop in again for a drink or two."
