"We sat outside by the water. The food was average. The cole slaw was chunky and flat no spice with way too much mayonnaise. Avoid it. The green beans needed some bacon or something to pick them up. The server insisted I changed my order from fried fish which fit the setting to what he claimed was a spectacular Grade A strip steak. Reluctantly I took the “special”. It wasn’t. I ordered it medium rare and it came out medium well. It was a scraggly strip steak thin and tasteless. The restaurant is a casual, understated waterside watering hole which probably does a better job with fried fish and French fries. I believe a “special” should be a special and was sad to have missed my opportunity to try their fried fare. Sadly, a leopard cannot change its spots"

"great service. our waitress was great. we are coming back to the final. we order the brezel and beer cheese dip for an appetizer. I had the fried burger, which my man got the cheese curdburger with both wobble rings. we also order the sloppy joe burger to go for our daughter. the burgers were absolutely the best we had in a long time. great first experience."
