"I am not going to bash Sylvan St for this one visit. We have eaten there many times and always have been satisfied. That said, I couldn't wait to get there for the scallop pie which I have enjoyed before. Not this time. The scallops were, in a word, awful. Zero taste. The stuffing followed suit. Mrs went with a burger and it was over cooked and dry. Baked potato was not hot. The server was wonderful. We will eat here again but a second experience like this would be our last."

"I love, love, love this place! The portions are fantastic, excellent menu with tons of options. I often go for the happy hour at half price appetizers after 9 a.m. at the bar. I must say that their service staff is absolutely amazing, always as friendly and really know how to treat people! A definitive 5 stars to Sylvan Street Grill!!!!"

"I worked for Prego for 9 years. It was a honor to serve their consistently delicious food!!! The Barracco's are a close family and they make the servers and customers feel like they are part of that. I always said if I fell short on my server abilities, the customers would forgive me when they got their food! The Veal Italiano is my favorite. Lightly breaded veal in a lemon cream sauce served with fettuccine alfredo a salad and tons of bread! Top it off with a piece of lemon cake and they will have to roll you out in a wheel barrow. The steaks are thick and tender. Everything is cooked fresh to order. It's no wonder they have customers that have been eating there for 30+ years. Try it, you will not be disappointed."

"Restaurant is small. We were put in a small room with only a few tables, one being occupied by a large, loud group. My husband and I could not hear each other at all. We asked to move but there were no tables available in the larger room. Server was apologetic and gracious. We ended up in a cozy little corner table in the bar which was lovely. The live music was soft and tasteful. Overall pleasant experience due to the polite and accommodating staff. BTW lovely resort!"
