"Cut your loses and eat at Freedom Cafe. Ricks is just a tourist destination. We usually eat here every summer. NEVER AGAIN. So much more expensive, a mimosa and a Budweiser was $25. There is a new online system in place too for ordering literally everything. Everything is on an iPad so it?s very difficult to navigate I found. I miss the physical menu. It is very hard to try and have a sit down meal but be on your phone almost the whole time trying to order food, drink,refills etc. Also, I love that they are taking care of their wait staff, but it does feel very bazaar walking in and seeing a ton of waitstaff sitting around but you have to do all the ordering yourself. I would like to mention that thewomen who was helping us was VERY sweet. I see that the owner(s) are sounding off to other reviewers saying that Ricks is ?no longer for them? or being very passive aggressive which is also disheartening because a lot of those people haveprobably been coming to this restaurant for many many year. As a 25 year old, this not this is not the ?direction? that I was to be dinning in in the future. Over all, just got a stressful experience"
