"The term don’t judge a book by its cover describes this place. From the outside that you can pass by without noticing much. The atmosphere and the food are amazing. I can not stress to you enough how good it is. It is extremely hard to find a place that cooks collards right. I felt like I was in my grandmothers home with good southern soul cooking. When me and my wife are here in Petersburg Virginia again we will be back for some good food."

"The grits!!!! THOSE GRITS! Ben's next door had Ben on my brunch list for a while and finally I was able to try it out. The bottomless mimosas start at 22$ a person and our waiter had the carafes coming consistently!!!! You only get a 2 hour brunch window so get to drinking quick! As for food I went with the Doin' The Most and really enjoyed it! Subbed the potatoes for grits and was blown away! Eggs were made great, I got bacon but would totally get sausage instead nothing bad just too much bacon, and the French toast was pretty good (although not the best). The space is hustling bustling with great mix of trap, r&b, and hip hop music you can really grove too. The prices are really reasonable and it's perfect for date night."

"I ordered through UberEats. They send my seafood boil with only garlic....no sauce and I requested their sauce in medium spicy. Suffice to say that I couldn't eat it after spending $90. I contacted UberEats and they said that they can't refund me because it was up to the restaurant how the food was prepared. I also ordered the overpriced fried rice. I did not eat it.....there were crawfish whiskers all in the rice. I pulled 4 out before deciding not to feed it to my baby."

"I was really disappointed. The food was barely warm when I got it and there was no silverware with the food. The Fried Fish Fillet Basket (4) is salty and has too much breading. It was dry and didnt come with any sauce at all... Not a lemon wedge, tartar sauce, mustard, hot sauce, nothing... The Crab Bites were ok, but again, no sauce at all. I would have expected for them to come with a remoulade sauce for dipping, but nope... just some dry crab nuggets. The coleslaw didnt have a lick of seasoning on it and was super bland.
