"I love this soul food restaurant and will look no further. It’s my 2nd time eating here and the food is amazing. The cook/owner John is such a sweet heart. I struggle with emotional illness and were having a moment today. John took the time to talk to me, offered me some wine and made me feel so optimistic and ready to tackle life. He had no idea how much better he made me feel. I did a root canal yesterday and expressed to John I had not eaten all day. He cooked my fish platter soft as he promised and I was able to finally eat. I wish John and his business the best of luck. Please support this black owned business!"

"Placed an order today total was $100 and gave a tip. We were moving so I asked for forks, plates, and cups. The gentleman said no we charge for that I said the sign says 0.25 for sauces and dressings. He refused to give them to me. I asked so a customer who just spent a $100.00 with you is not worth plates and cups? His response was “No” that’s so unfortunate that a customer is not worth plates and forks.
