"We love this place, after many years it's remained consistently good. They are a surf shack in the middle of the burbs, it's a great escape. As a beachy restaurant, their primary menu items are seafood, but they have a good range if vegetarian and vegan options, and they know the difference. My favorite is the tofu crab cake sandwich. There's also vegan chili, tacos, and phish and chips. The atmosphere is very family-friendly, but there's an outdoor cantina (summer weekends there's live music) and a sports bar inside. They even have a large additional dining room for private events."

"This place is really easy to miss it's tucked right behind (or in front of) Pitango bakery by the water. They have great outdoor seating overlooking the harbour, and cute indoor seating with traditional Japanese style tables. Food: fried tofu for appetizer: this was really great and I would definitely get it the next time I'm back. we tried a couple of their rolls (spicy tuna sunshine etc). you get about 8 rolls per plate. I did think the price was reasonable it all tasted really fresh and they don't overload the sushi with ingredients; the seafood still comes through very well. yaki soba vegetable noodles: for $9 it's pretty decent. Would I go back? Yes!"

"Some like it hot!. With most thai places you can order things to be hotter/spicier by asking for it, but i don't like to do that until i know the baseline for that restaurant. i went with the drunken noodles and was not disappointed! both chili oil and jalapenos in abundance, just a tad hotter and i'd be crying (but in a good way). nice atmosphere, good service, a simple menu with vegetarian options and decent prices. i'm hunting this down next time i find myself back in DC"

"The Pineapple Curry with Shrimp was divine! I am not a fan of spicy food but this curry was a delicate balance of citrus coconut flavors and chili that was to die for. Served in a hallowed pineapple shell this is my new spot for Thai food. Priced well and pleasing to the palate."

The pad see ew took me straight to Thailand, and the eggplant dish was so fire, I had to order 2 more dishes for takeout! and get this, they 're all about generous portions without breaking the bank. They don 't even upcharge for beef or shrimp! It 's a steal, my friend, just ten bucks and you 're in Thai food paradise.Seriously, hands down the best Thai food I 've ever had. Fourth visit to this restaurant and something was OFF.My Spicy Veggies and Tofu came out to the table with four pieces of tofu the total volume of which was the size of a matchbox, maybe a matchbox and a half if I am being generous.How ridiculous. Look at the picture of the vegetables. So why go through all the effort to make a beautiful stir fry of vegetables and include such a miniscule amount of tofu that it warrants this review?Stupid."
