"The food was good the drinks were great. The service is what gave us anxiety. They were trying too hard. It seemed they had a timer to go to our table every 5 min or so and ask if all was good. The first 2-3 times we appreciated, the rest we were desperate. They asked about 10 times in a 1 hour service. We lit told the guy: if we need something we will let you know. On top of that another lady came very frequently to check on our plates and see what she could pickup, even if we were not done with it. In our opinion there is nothing more uncomfortable than telling a waiter/tress to leave the plate until we’re done. Other than that, the food and drinks were great."

"The MOA hotel is a bit run down, not very fancy, but the food speaks for itself. The staff was great and one thing that really stood out was their general knowledge of the menu. The service was quick and attentive. Pasta was cooked perfectly; The sauce was better than expected and the salad was fresh with a mixed selection of vegetables ... I would go back! FYI /// Skip the bruschetta, not very well !!! It is made with grilled bread (not Gallic) cold grilled onion and sausage or cheese ..."

"The restaurant has a nice atmosphere on Lincoln Road. However, the food was quite disappointing. When we arrived, we were the only table seated, so I was surprised that our meals were not cooked properly. I ordered a filet mignon medium, accompanied by a shrimp skewer, but it came out well done. The shrimp were overcooked and very dry. My son ordered a paella, which only had two shrimp, three small mussels, and a lot of rice—definitely not enough seafood. My wife had the branzino, which was the best dish of the night and the only reason I gave more than one star for the food. Unfortunately, it was still quite dry. For dessert, we tried a cold bread pudding, but I could only manage a bite, even though I typically enjoy desserts. My wife and son also refused to eat it, so we skipped dessert altogether. The service was excellent, but again, we were the only table at the time of our arrival, and by the time we left, only two other diners were present."

"This is a small place with big flavor and great service. Its latin food in general, but they favor a bit more Ecuadorian food, which I enjoyed. I never had a chicken soup that had cheese, different but good. The pork had a lot of flavor, rice well done and lentils with consistency and good taste. I tried also the lollipop (paleta) and like it a lot. reasonable prices too, not cheap but not expensive either. Will go back."

"Wonderful experience. Food was excellent, service was great despite being packed. Party of 2, no reservation but was seated fast. The lasagna was delicious and very filling, one of the best I've had with a Latin spin on it; mashed potato layer which stayed hot so definitely let it cool down between bites. Delicious, I've never had a lasagna like it but it left me wanting more. The Queen Cream Cheese soup was also excellent, cheesie and had chicken; also very unique dish but delicious. The Spaghetti with Shrimp was also very delicious. The tiramisu was also one of the best I've had, delicious. The server and bus girl were very attentive. Restaurant had a very nice family-oriented atmosphere, excellent service and exceptional food. Menu had a lot to choose from. I will definitely be coming back to this gem. Thank you to everyone at Montecatinj for the amazing experience!Kid-friendliness: A lot of birthdays going on when we went, a few children's birthdays. I love how they still do the whole birthday celebration with the cake on the candle and everyone singing happy birthday."

"This was our first visit to Mi Ranchito, and we happened to go on Taco Tuesday. We each tried 3 different types of tacos, and we also ordered rice and pinto beans. Every bite was delicious, and the salsas were perfect (although if you get the hot sauce, be prepared it really is hot)!!! We look forward to returning soon."

"We had the worst dinner experience ever.The owner/ manager was so rude and disrespectful. He made personal comments on our kids like “Your kids are a mess” and “You need to educate your kids” while we were walking out.This was from a restaurant that calls itself a family place.He also kept on giving us and our kids bad glances throughout our dinner.They also served us wrong food and took forever to bring the right food. And had the audacity to charge us for the wrong food order as well.Food was mediocre. And somewhat overpriced. Super sweet drinks. Cheese was overloaded in all dishes.Ambience is dim but the tables are setup so close to each other. Bad quality furniture.There are a lot of Mexican places in the area. Strongly discourage going here.The owner even said Do not come back.I am definitely not going to come back and make sure anyone I know doesn’t go there either.Mediocre food is still ok but making personal comments on someone’s kid is not okay at all. You don’t tell a parent to educate your kids and that their kids are a mess.You have no idea what the parent might be dealing with. Very inappropriate and inconsiderate.And if you can’t handle kids, don’t call yourself a “family restaurant”I will never go back there and would discourage people (specially with kids) to not go there either.Horrible horrible night.Worst experience ever.Ruined our dinner and night.So disappointed."

"The restaurant is decent, though a bit pricey—probably just inflation at work. I paid $20 for three chicken tacos, which were fine, but I wish the portions had been a bit larger. What really bothered me was seeing tequila shots listed at $15 for five on the menu, only to find out they were $65 at the nightclub. I understand they're separate venues, but wow, that's a big jump! The club itself is kind of fun, but I’d definitely recommend having a few drinks beforehand to make those prices more bearable. I know I can be a bit frugal!"

"Eating with a Lake View and live music was very atmosphere. The kids meal came 15 min earlier that everyone elses and one meal never came regardless of repeated requests which was a downer. But sharing by everyone at the table satisfied the mishap. The food was tasty, recommend the Tallarin Verde con Bisteck. One of the best I have tried. Also recommend the Chupe de Camarones. Recommendation: Prepare your staff a little better to avoid confusions like this."
