"First time at this restaurant, I have heard great reviews. We had one person that did not eat seafood and there were no appetizers that were not seafood. Oscar style steak had crab shell in it and waitress never checked back on us. Ordered drinks that never came until after we were ready to leave."

"This little diner is great. We were in the area and saw it on the side of the highway. The owner/chef is so friendly and willing to please. He has a secret sauce that is absolutely devine. He provided a sample of his sauce over crab cakes and we were in heaven!The wait staff was prompt and friendly as well. Our food was delivered hot and fresh.Atmosphere is casual and the restaurant is clean and well lit. The menu offers sufficient delectable seafood and cajun selections.There is ample parking and convenient to the highway.This little diner is a definite jewel, don 't miss it. We visit the area once a year for fishing and will return here to have Chef Thompson cook up our fresh catch. Great place."

"we stopped here for breakfast before we left miami. very friendly and polite staff. the music was on the point and set the mood in this restaurant. Woman Neda was our waitress and she was brilliant! even if it was close to the closing time we were there after 1pm they close around 2pm and the eating was hot and freshly served! I will definitely recommend and visit again when we are back in miami!"

"We had the most unprofessional experience at French Market Seafood on Florida St. in Mandeville last night.My mom placed an order for 60 lbs of crawfish in the middle of the week for pick up on Friday. She was told that the price would be $2.99 a pound if you ordered more than 10 lbs. When we got to the French Market they told us that the crawfish were $3.49 a lb instead because the employee that took my mom's order was new and made a mistake. We asked the owner (Richard) if he was going to honor his employee's mistake and give us the price we were quoted and he refused and told us he would like us not to come back again because we were too much trouble. The owner has no businesss mind or ethics whatsover. BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS'S GREED. We were ripped off $30.00. We had no choice but to buy the crawfish because we had a house full of people waiting to indulge. I will never patronize French Market again. A business is as good as its word. We will patronize Mandeville Seafood or Bateau's Seafood on Hwy. 59"
