"If you want a lunch venue, I do not believe you should pick Avondale. It's menu for food (at lunch time, at least) is very small, and the place is dead on a Thursday. I was looking for somewhere with a pleasant vibe for a casual business meeting. From 12-2pm, there was literally no one else there, and it was awkward. I've decided to give Avondale 3/5 across the board, apart from ambiance, which I am giving it 1/5. The food was ok, the service was average at best. Being honest, I suspect it might be better in the evening. But for Thursday lunch... You can do better."
