"Excellent food! I had been to their restaurant two weeks ago and loved their empanada verde grilled chicken with rice and beans and added maduros con queso! Delicioso! The food came hot fresh just awesome including lettuce and tomatoes! Love this restaurant. It made a wonderful Sunday dinner with leftovers for me! Gracias! Highly recommend 5 stars all the way!"

"The first time my family and I went to La Kuchara the food was good. We had encebollado de pescado, ceviche de camarón, bollo de pescado, caldo de bola de verde (which I recommend to stay away, it’s not their best), entraña, humita. The drinks they make are very delicious hands down no matter what day you go. Service must improve!! They have lots of servers on the floor but it takes forever to get the simplest of things like napkins, water which they don’t serve it unless it’s ask and when you do ask it takes a while to get it. Other than that it was good. Finding parking is a hassleUpdate: This the second time the family and I came to the kuchara and we were very disappointed!!! The food was not edible. Our steaks were burnt, the encebollado did not taste the same, the fritada was dried and tasted like it leftover meat, my brother-in-law had to drown it in curtido so he can eat. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!Service again was horrible!! A restaurant with so many waiters on the floor shouldn’t have bad service. I showed our waitress the burnt steaks, she acted like she didn’t care and didn’t even offer an apology. WE WILL NOT RETURN!!!"

"My friends and I had such a great experience tonight. The staff was attentive and gracious (we were perhaps a *Teeny*-Bit-Rundy at times) and the Margarita pitchers were amazing. We were a party of five people, and although we stayed for a while, we never felt rushed or put under pressure to give up our table. As others have said, the place is TINY and I think there were more seats outside than inside. However, I am a plus size woman and I was comfortable at my table and felt like I had plenty of space despite the small room. I had the Seco de Pollo... the chicken was so tender and the sauce was amazing. I'm not a planner at all, but I even thought I'd be nagging about it. I can't really say too much about what my dining companions have ordered, and I'm not sure one of them will remember, because I mentioned the beautiful Margarita Pitcher? All in all, it was such a welcoming environment, and the dishes and drinks were at a reasonable price. We will definitely come back!"

"I picked this place although I'm from California, becausei was craving Paella; I wanted us to try something different. My siblings were kinda hesitant but I'm always very adventurous with my palate. Well!!! Lo and behold the Chicken Consomme was nice and light yet full of flavor!!! Then Paella was served and it was DELISH!!! My sister ordered something kinda soupy, she wasn't used to something like that but everyone like the Paella and the Grilled Meat Platter. We actually said we'd go back again when I come back to town. Great service as well!!! I wish we could've stayed for the Karaoke."

"It was terrible! I’m from Peru and my ecuatorians friends were so excited to try their food but the experience was so bad and rude!The service was awful, the girl who works as a server was unhelpful and she was so annoyed about what we want to eat. I ask for a chicken breast and she said you can’t choose, so I said I’m going to choose another dish and she said I can’t delete this dish cause you already order and we were like you just starting, she just said you should know what you want because I gave you enough time. I really wanted to leave this restaurant but for respect to my friends, I didn’t. So rude!Missing extra rice, she charge it us and when I told her that we didn’t get it. She said I can’t avoid it, here is your money, the way how she said that was rude.The price: we don’t have problems about the price but in the menu appears a price and in the check another price. The server just said I don’t know the prices, the owner put those prices, and she looked at us like you will pay or not.We paid a service charge 15%, but I’m sorry. They don’t deserve it. The worst service everrrrr.There’s better restaurants than this one."
