"On Saturday night, the restaurant was very quiet. We were seated at 7:30 and no one else came in after us. I ordered the Sunday Ragu, and while the sauce was delicious, the sausage was just okay. The meatball was dry and overcooked, and instead of beef braciole, I received a stuffed chicken roll that I did not like. One of my friends ordered shrimp parm and enjoyed it, while another friend had the sausage scarpiello and thought it was only okay. Someone else ordered the veal and found it to be tough and dry, leaving most of the meal uneaten. However, dessert was very good. This was surprising because we had a great lunch there about a month ago. Perhaps it was just an off night."

"service was very good rafael our waiter was very attentive and explained the menu. the eating was delicious. 2 of the 4 meal times had a problem. a plate mahi mahi was (usually raw) underboiled during delivery. my friend wasn't happy. they took it back to cook. we suggested that they bring food from seafood linguini. $28 piece fish was returned and picked up. not pleasant. my dish seafood linguini should have been garnelen scallops and lobster. I was just smiling. well, it was very good, but at $33 it was a garnel and linguini dish not seafood linguini. I suggested to the restaurant that they do something that 1 meal was not right and they should correct the bill to reflect. they came back to advise us that we can have 1 dessert in the house. $7 profiteroles vs $28 mahi mahi does not equal. you will get a 3 rating"

"I've been here 3 times now, I went alone after my hair appointment. Then brought my friend. Then my fiance the last time. The short rib grilled cheese was loaded and amazing. The Cuban sandwich was pretty good. The atmosphere is dimmed and homey. Will continue coming for sure."

"It will be a shame to see the press room. The menu is limited, but a good size and the food is always excellent. If you are not picky, you should be able to find something you will enjoy. Drink wisely, they have a good cocktail menu, but the bar offers know their stuff if you want something else. You always have a good selection of quality beer on design and a few unique designs offers. The wine selection is also good. The price and ambience definitely put the press room in the chic category, but it is worth going as a place if you want to make a night of it. We also loved their outdoor area and the bar. I did a few lunch sessions and events here, both worked well, and it can be a nice place to just dive for a drink."

"MY MOTHER WAS ROBBED HERE!!!!! Seriously. My mother came in the day after Thanksgiving for dinner and drinks before a concert. She placed her coat on the coat rack at the front of the restaurant during dinner as there was no place to hang your coat closer to your table. When she went to retrieve it, it was gone. This coat was very special to my mother. I understand the restaurant is not liable for their patron 's robbing each other, however, the way the Majestic handled this entire situation was deplorable. After the coat was stolen, we asked for the general manager who refused to come out to speak to us about the stolen coat. Red flag #1. We called the police since the value of the coat was significant. At some point, the Majestic mentioned that they may be able to reimburse my mother through an insurance claim which was also explained to police Sergeant Stark. Sergeant Stark followed up with the restaurant to provide the information needed for the insurance claim. We did not hear back from Majestic for 7 days after the incident. Red flag #2. My mother called everyday to inquire about the coat and to see if there was any way to rectify the situation she never received a call back. Such a blatant lack of empathy and general customer service. The last time she called, she was hung up on by either Paige or Lauren. When she finally got Lauren on the phone, Lauren was extremely rude and demeaning towards my mother. Seriously not an ounce of empathy over the situation. My mother was robbed of a very special item at this nice restaurant and they have been nothing but NASTY to us. Lauren explained that there 's nothing they can do. They 've treated us like we were beneath them during this entire situation. I 'm starting to wonder if someone who works here stole it..... BEWARE: KEEP YOUR BELONGINGS CLOSE AT THIS RESTAURANT. THE MAJESTIC GRILLE DOES NOT CARE IF PATRON 'S ARE ROBBED ON THEIR PREMISES."

"This is the second year we have used Lorenzos to cater our holiday office party for 40 people. We are a state agency in downtown Albany and they have been more than accommodating each year! The food is EXCELLENT. Considering the food is coming from Schenectady to downtown Albany and it is still piping hot is just amazing. The pulled pork, chicken parm and penne with vodka sauce are the office favorites and a must have each year. The chicken is so tender. Everyone loves the food. I highly recommend their catering services. They go above and beyond your expectations. You will not be disappointed! Looking forward to order from them again! Edit: I forgot to mention, we have an employee with many food allergies and they accommodated us with a custom order just for her. Again, I cannot stress enough how much we love Lorenzos!"

"I have officially lost an overview of how many times I have been to McCann this year alone. Never was I dissatisfied, only overwhelmed with the joy of the great tasting meals. Kevin and McCann's employees always offer an excellent service and fully educate themselves about their extensive offers. If you really want to treat yourself, I recommend grilling a steak directly from the case with one side of beef frits. Upstairs with a beer from the tap, and you have experienced one of your best meals in life. For a good measure, do not forget to bring some bacon home for the morning"
