"The Jerk Chicken main course was the highlight of the night. It is certainly worth trying, respectable in quantity given its quality, and should be shared among 2 people. A full chicken was cooked amidst some sauce(s to be quite tender, well spiced, and scrumptiously savory. I only wish the taro root paste that the chicken rests upon was instead offered as a side; it detracts from the visual appeal without enhancing the flavor. But the dish is really tasty and the reason why I rate the food category to be 4 stars. The Mediterranean meze platter consists of 3 lightly fried falafel, 4 grape leaves more mild than sour, a single lonesome plantain (roasted perhaps? with its skin intact, and a bowl of warm pita triangles. All such appetizers are complemented with a suite of condiments: a red beet hummus (my favorite in taste and viscosity , baba ghanoush, traditional hummus (weirdly containing oil or a pepper garnish? , and the mildest tahini you'll ever taste (with only a hint of sesame . I appreciate the variety of the platter which is decently ranging in selection, but the quantity is fit for 2 people really and both the falafel grape leaves tasted milder than expected. That can actually be refreshing to a delicate or overly sensitive palate but the platter has a bit of filler to be truly, completely filling. Either by adding more plantains (only one was offered or substituting them entirely with a few falafel/grape leaves, will this dish become an excellent primer of sharable starters. My main complaint rests with the service. We arrived at 8:30 and made it we were ordering incrementally. We'd start with the Mediterranean meze Jerk Chicken, and take it from there. What we didn't know and what the server didn't inform us until after we finished the first two dishes was that the kitchen closes at 9:15! Paired with how long it took to serve our food in the first place, we never even had a chance to fill our bellies! Please inform your guests properly!!"
