"This is my spot! I feel like their iconic, maybe to me! What stands out are the corn shelled empanadas. They are among very few restaurants here in the city that offer it. In all 5 boroughs. I think I’ve found one food truck in Queens and another restaurant that was in Jersey. I had the lunch special which was 2 empanadas with rice and beans. One empanada was ground beef and the other was the Viagra which is a shrimp empanada. Both delicious with the green and red sauces."

"Way overpriced empanadas with weak sauce. Lacks meat, loaded with potatoes, and the sauce isnt even spicy as mama empanadas the old chain is supposed to be. They also cost you an arm and a leg each. This is a one and done for me. Cheaper empanadas to be had elsewhere. They also nickel and dime you $0.75 each for sauce as well as other things."
