"update: I received an email from guest Relations(Kelsie) on March 10th 2022 and asked about my experience and to send pictures. I've done everything I've been asked and you know I haven't heard from them. today is 3/24/22. You heard about the proverb as vague as sohn. that is the perfect example for this company. how to earth someone comes to me in a higher position and then lets me hang without answering or confirming the wrong do? I have so much to say! great experience to say at least! the towel serviettes that kept our utensils were full of haare. the appetizer had literally eaten old, which stuck around the sides, made me sick on mine. When our food came out, my old food had stuck to his teller. we immediately ask for a To-Go box so we can pay and go as soon as possible. the waitress was nice and we tipped her (as we always type) she was not responsible for the nastiness! she said she would advise the manager as she saw everything we pointed out. but the server has never asked if we want new plates, new serviettes or something, it has spattered away. we spent a total of $104 and couldn't eat our meals because of the insecure food. Covid-19 still goes around and they would think restaurants would be extra sanitary because restaurants should be clean and that was extremely unethical, unacceptable and down right disgusting! the management should withdraw the back of the house. they dip the dishes, if necessary, before they are in the dishwasher! This ensures that the gast eats on clean plates and utensils. order new serviettes, they are well overdue! hair nets should be worn to prevent haare everywhere. I'll never get to this place again!"

"I have always enjoyed the atmosphere and the customer service at Texas Road house. The ability to pick your own steak before being seated is very tempting and in some cases my first choice before I decide on my beverage for the evening. I was very impressed with COVID measures taken by this establishment. There is a tent located outside where an employee will add you to the waiting list and advise you when you can enter the facility. When I got there, I had a party of four and we were seated immediately. They clearly identify all booths and tables that are not to be used and are to maintain social distancing. All employees wear masks and in some cases gloves. They obviously took this very seriously and show a deep concern for their customers based on their COVID measures. I had the bone-in ribeye with baked potato and corn. I asked for a medium cook on the steak and they nailed it. It was not over seasoned, as some have claimed occurred in the past, so that is likely great feedback to help improve the quality of their products. Everyone else in my party enjoyed their meals and the kids definitely took home some extra steak fries. I do have to say, those seasoned steak fries were yummy and I couldn't stop eating them after I felt full. The staff I interacted with was very friendly and all were using some form of PPE as required by COVID guidelines. I would come back again to this establishment and enjoy some more of their delectable steaks."

"We had a very poor experience last weekend for dinner. After waiting over an hour for a table (we understand it's busy on weekends) we were seated and met our extremely nice and sweet waitress. She was doing her best, but was clearly spread a little thin. After receiving an unsweetened tea instead of the sweet tea I ordered, I had to wait another 10 minutes for a new tea. After receiving our prime rib, steak/ribs, and salmon we were asked if there was anything else they could get for us. We requested sauce for the prime rib and a couple refills. After finishing everything else on my plate I had still not received sauce for the prime rib and we still had no refills. At this point our waitress took the time to talk to her manager about us because she felt bad for how our service had been and requested the manager come talk to us before we finish our dinner and get the bill. We never saw that manager again. Instead of talking to us and resolving the problem she avoided the issue, hoping we would just pay our bill and leave. When it came time to pay the bill and I requested to speak to a manager, our waitress was rather confused as she had already sent one to our table but clearly she never showed. The bottom line is, our waitress messed up, she tried to correct the problem but whoever you had in management that night just tried to avoid it. Ending up making the waitress take care of it herself. I am beyond disappointed as this used to be one of my favorite places to eat out. If I were to be seated with that waitress, I would 100% give her another shot. If I walked in and saw that manager, I'd be walking out the door."
