"Great selection between a variety of dishes. I mix it up with three different tacos which also gets you two sides (I love their rice with cilantro). Plenty of options to sit (inside, outside with or without overhead cover, a patio with transparent curtains to help keep it comfortable). I would appreciate a darker selection of beers but I won 't know stars for something like price or selection which are both things I can check before committing to eating there. Servers are always nice, some eclectic, and seem to be as diverse as Kansas City. I take all my out-of-town guests here and they all love it. I am usually seated within minutes (less than 5 every time) and have never waited more than 10minutes once the food was ordered (two persons, food arrives at same time. If you have a larger party then expect a longer wait). They also sometimes have live music. I 'd say a great option for a first 'date ' because it isn 't terribly expensive, has a fun atmosphere and you don 't need to get fancy."

"This restaurant has great potential, but it really needs better staffing. There was just one waitress handling both hosting and serving, alongside one person managing the cash register. We waited 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our presence. When my food finally arrived, it was lukewarm, which I suspect was due to understaffing rather than the cooks' performance. While the flavors were enjoyable, I don't think I'll be coming back again due to the management issues. Cost per person: $10–20."

"We went for lunch after a movie and had a wonderful experience. The service was quick and friendly. They served the best salsa as soon as we sat down. Our food arrived promptly, hot, and exactly as ordered. I ordered the enchiladas from the à la carte menu and turned it into a combo, while my husband enjoyed the beef chimichanga. We were both thoroughly satisfied and comfortably full! The total, including tips, was around $20. I absolutely love having a great Mexican restaurant up here in the far north!"

"I made this reservation a month ago. I confirmed it by text and email, I called this morning at 11:15 o'clock and spoke to a man to change my reservation from 4 to 5 people. when we arrived, the host was rude and cold and said she had no reservation for my name. I explained I made it through an open table and she went on to tell me that they don't use an open table anymore. I explained that I had a record of the reservation, confirmed it, and spoke to someone on the phone this morning, but she was still cold and dry and said they did not use open table. She still sat us, and even after I showed her my phone with the confirmation, she was simply not interested. we had a 10 year old with us and were not offered a child menu by the hostess or our server. our server was not friendly. they were from three of the red wines we demanded. we got our food from two additional servers and no one noticed that we didn't have any cutlery we had to request. this is usually a favorite place for me, but the service was not on par. gott thanks to the lemon chicken. that never disappoints."

"Even begin to describe all the flavors I experienced would not do this restaurant justice. Delicious!!! I've never heard of a place that has groundless micheladas to brunch and was a little concerned to try it here. Yeah, I'm picky, but that's because I feel like I have the best! Put your hands down, make it like your Abuelo before your Abuelita saved him from the streets. I'm sure you had Chilaquiles before there's always a big tostada on the floor and it's hard to stick in your mouth alone. Barbed wire Reef just changed the game with thin, long pieces of Tostada, which are then stacked high with flavors, from mild to knock your socks out of fire. Did I mention that they have 7 different species?! I asked the bartender/server/ninja Brittany who the chefs are. It was nice to face this creative genius. Thanks Alan and Mario! I am grateful that I could try Chilaquiles out how to make them. I'll be back!"

"My wife was over the moon when she found out the menu was 100% gluten free. It was the first time we were able to share our entrées with each other in ages. We are looking forward to going back! "I had recently attended a presentation dinner on June 27. I ordered the walley and it was exceptional. Unfortunately when I again attended on my birthday July 6 the food was not something I could recommend to others. The fish was tasteless and cold. When it was served the plate was cold to touch and by the second bites so was the fish. I was extremely disappointed. The service was excellent. The daily happy hour includes some good deals, especially on featured empanadas and Argentinian malbec. We found street parking right by the restaurant, and a couple of lots are nearby."

"Good Mexican, huge portions. The thing that was most about Laredo's was the size of her parts. You were HUGE. I had the dinner sampler that had a beef taco, beef tostada, chicken burrito, chicken enchilada and Chile Relleno. I took half of it home. The mol sauce was very mild (I prefer a little more zip) and while the salsa was fresh, it was runny (I prefer it thicker). But the taste was good. The chips were very good and overall the meal was good."

"malo lived on the names during our visit. they have quite reasonable prices for tacos on taconight (days 's) why we have gone. tacos where ok (because they finally arrived) the service was confused by being best and most likely absent from it. ordering in which forgotten, false tellers came from the kitchen and the staff was not attentive enough. I wouldn't recommend coming here until they put their personal in order."

"We were really looking forward to eating here while on a road trip but it was AWFUL. The barracuda tasted like it had been sitting out spoiling all day and the hangar steak was MAYBE 4 ozs for $35 with beans that were straight out of a can. The breakfast buffet was worse....sausage and bacon sitting in a bath of grease, dry stale bagels, cold waffles and no new food being put out despite empty chafing dishes. It was bad. McDonald's breakfast sandwich would have been way better."

"My wife and I just moved from Texas and had a mad craving for Mexican food. The chips and salsa were a perfect start. We are used to a little more enchilada sauce and cheese but this place HIT THE SPOT. We had the beef enchilada platter and shrimp enchiladas. Both were delicious with the meats being cooked above average quality. The Vampiro Margarita special was delicious with fruit fresh but not too sweet. We'll definitely be back."
