"We have walked by this place so many times and, on a friends suggestion, who finally had dinner there. The ambiance was warm and comfortable and not overly trendy. The food was authentic and very delicious. We could all hear ourselves talk and we had some hearty laughs because of the easy going atmosphere. All 5 of us had nothing but praise and in a heartbeat we decided to have our next monthly dinner there. Thanks for a perfect evening! NYC could use a lot more restaurants like Rafele."

"picked up a close to me now reservation on open table for a pre-show bite to eat. even if we had a reservation, we said they would try to fit us as they were so busy. the seating was not ideal, but the food and drinks were great on the happy hour menu."

"Food is always excellent. All the waiters seem to help each other out. A waiter from another table will fill my water and vise versa. The sausage and peppers were fantastic, the herb butter for the bread is delicious. I had the Conchiglie Pollo, so creamy and satisfying. Loved it. The tiramisu is one of my favorites. All the portions are HUGE!! The value is so worth it. We love it here and we don’t even call it by name. We call it “our place”. Highly recommended."
