"I want to like Desert Racer and have been here five or six times. Unfortunately last night was a disaster. Once seated we waited ten minutes for a server. He took our drink and appetizer order and we didn’t see him again for twenty minutes. Someone else brought our two orders of quest, there were eight of us, but we got two bowls or quest and one basket of chips. He took our food order and promised more chips. Ten minutes later we got our drinks minus one iced tea. The food arrived with the chips but from someone else. I think it was the manager who ended up serving us and she was trying very hard to correct the mistakes in the order, wrong food, salads that were not correct, etc…. The iced tea did appear almost an hour after it was ordered. The food was tasty and again, the manager was trying hard. Our original server must have quit after he took our order because we didn’t see him again and no one seemed to know where he was! Any way, I’ll be slow to return."
